When I opened Firefox today, I got weird sounds, like PacMan, and an ambulance siren, and I am unable to find a way to stop the noises. Cox Communications was no help, but the agent stated that he had heard the same sound yesterday when opening the Google
I have another kind of problem with Firefox
When opening my firefox browser page, I get a sound like an ambulance siren, and sounds that a tech at Cox Communications id'ed as PacMan noise. The tech also stated that he heard the same noise on the Google browser page yesterday. Any suggestions/solutions?

I got the exact same problem, it's not some flash thing since it even pops-up on blank pages.

Google's celebrating PacMan's 30th anniversary, they have a fancy logo. With sound. Brilliant idea that was =/
The same problem on FF with Vista Home Basic... Even if I log on other sites the sound still goes on.

I have removed Firefox and re-installed (sorry for english xD) but the problem is not vanished. :|

@ Rahid, I get the sounds even without Google. Although I have google search option in my task bar.

same problem too even changing default home page and search case to non google won't help even after restarting even after clearing all browser history, coockies....
stupid celebration they should have tested this before releasing it
this is so annoying lol wtf. pacman noises arrgh
so if it is really a google celebration, how do we stop it?
