I've gotten this issue on multiple web sites, and multiple browsers. I'm not sure why this is happening, and I've on the chrome forums too. In the screenshot you should be able to see on the left hand side a menu type listing, and it looks like just off center there is more text for the menu item. It also seems to happen for other links on a page as well.

This can happen if you block remote fonts that are downloaded from internet or otherwise block website fonts.

Make sure you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Settings -> General -> Language and Appearance -> Fonts -> Advanced
    [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above"

If you use uBlock Origin make sure not to "block remote fonts".

I looked at that setting. It is checked. So, that doesn't seem to be the issue.

I've also looked at my extension and plug-ins. I do have some, but none of them should be affecting the text. Just in case, I disabled them all, and it did not change the issue.

Thank You, Erich

On the off-chance it was something in the profile messing things up, I also tried a completely fresh profile as well. Started firefox with the -P option and had it create a brand new profile. It still did the same thing with the new profile.
