Unable to sign in to my email account for Spectrum (Charter.net) using Firefox. Other browsers work. I called tech support at Spectrum and they told me this is a known problem with firefox that they get regular calls about. They are advising customers to use a different brower and do not know what is causing the problem or if it will get fixed. Clearing the startup cache for Firefox DOES NOT fix the problem for me. Running the current version of Windows 10 64 bit pro version on a 4 month old HP Pavilion laptop. Firefox has adblock installed.

Since Charter is aware of the problem and is solving it by telling people not to use Firefox, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this and has a solution. I cleared the startup cache several times and that didn't change anything.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
