Chosen solution

Sorry to hear about the crashes and thank you for the report IDs. All 9 have the identical "signature," which usually is the point in the code where Firefox halted. This crash signature appears to arise when Firefox is managing access by scripts in one context to scripts or script objects in a different context. For example, scripts from the main server vs. scripts from other servers, scripts in the page that need to interact with Firefox's built-in scripts, or potentially add-on scripts interacting with page scripts. But beyond that general concept, I have no idea how to drill down to the source of the problem.

It appears you use Adblock Plus. Would you consider temporarily disabling ABP and using a different ad blocking extension instead to see whether that makes any difference? A popular one is uBlock Origin:

When I look at user comments on their crash reports for this signature, there are an abundance of references to the BBC, a couple to the Washington Post, and a couple to Sina blogs. There also are a couple references to LastPass, so that add-on might also be an issue.

Thanks.

Switching from AdBlock Plus to using uBlock Origin on the BBC site seems to have resolved the problem.
