Firefox for Android 50.1.0: 'Star' bookmarks button is present but invisible

Hi all,

As my title says, the button seems to work fine but there's no 'icon' on the menu for it.

If you touch the top left edge where the button should be, it indeed saves a bookmark. I also don't have the left and right navigation buttons but I don't care much about those.

I really appreciate any help anyone could provide.

I'm using Firefox for Android v50.1.0 (newest right now-17Jan2017) on an RCA tablet.
