For "guigs" .... Didn't work. Still getting the same problem/error notice. I am wondering if this problem is because of Sourceforge being offline. XDM is a "project" (I believe) of Sourceforge. I am also wondering if there is an alternate source to download the xpi and manually install it.

I am still getting the notice(s) of failure to connect. I am wondering if this may have something to do with Firefox v39.0 and/or the "about:config: settings. I was not usng XDM until the past week or so after FF 39.0 was released. My Internet connection is via "wired" (cable) .. no proxy. Suggestions?
