Why does Firefox 36 for Android say I have an infinite number of tabs open and how do I get it to say the actual number again?

I just upgraded to Firefox 36 for Android and noticed something strange. While the previous version of Firefox indicated the number of tabs, now there is just an infinity symbol. That's slightly off: I only have about 150, which is a bit short of infinity. How do I get the actual number of tabs back?

Hi sweetkittens

Only 150 tabs :-) Fun ! I used to regularly open 200 tabs when working on support for Thunderbird.

Anyhow this is has been noticed before and the development team has decided not fix fix it, here's the bug report. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1122945

Cheers!
