Dashlane, is that an extension? I didn't realize you could customize extension toolbars now.

View doesn't list the Navigation Toolbar because starting in Firefox 29 it is "always on" and can only be hidden by an extension.

The Bookmarks Toolbar Items should work normally when placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar (default configuration), but other bars may be hit or miss.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

jscher2000 - Prior to the FF update I did have the BM toolbar in the unnamed middle line - call it Dashlane bar line - and had no problem. View does not list Navigation Bar, maybe because I've got those tools integrated on the top line to the right of the Menu Bar. I am using Classic Theme Restorer already. Are you suggesting reconfiguring options in the Restorer? The overflow use to show, but now the bar vanishes instead leaving just the large down arrow - except at Full screen and then there's no need for overflow. Note: this happens whether on Dashlane bar or BM bar.
cor-el - no difference in Safe Mode and Accelerator off or on. I did reset .uiCustomization which had specific info and now is back to default.
So gang, I'm not sure where to go next. It may be what jscher2000 said about other users, but then I'd rather go back to previous version. Is that a bad idea? Your assistance is truly appreciated.

You can try to reset the browser.uiCustomization.state pref on the about:config page to reset the toolbar customization.

If so:

Something in Firefox 31 is not compatible with that arrangement: in other threads, users discovered that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" slides off the end of the bar instead of displaying partially, and you can only view it by clicking the overflow button. I'm not sure why you don't have an overflow button.

Anyway, if you want to empty a bar, try this: empty the Navigation Toolbar and use Classic Theme Restorer to suppress it.

But, then I went to FULL screen (2nd capture) and the toolbar appeared. But when I clicked back on RESTORE DOWN (3d capture) the bar disappears completely again. Usually the bar would just have >> at the end. hope this helps.
