I cannot send email. I get this same error over and over. I uninstall, and reinstall, the error is still present. Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: Connection refused - [181.215.65.87] blocked by Vade Threat List - ELINK003_101 - https://postmaster-earthlink.vadesecure.com/outbound_error_codes/#_101.

Thunderbird used to work. My POP outbound settings: SMTPAuth.earthlink.net Port 587 Connection Security: STARTTLS Authentication method: Normal Password

I contacted earthlink, they didn't help.

When I send photos from my phone to my imac inbox, same email address, or when a third party sends me a verification code, "get messages" is very slow showing results. Sometimes minutes, so I have to go through several verification attempts. The primary email account is gmail. My ISP is comcast.net. I don't know if this matters, because slow Get Messages is recent. It used to work very well

Thunderbird Email: since Sept 2 Thunderbird update 155, my incoming emails are no longer coming into my inbox with my domain host provider webnames.ca. My other staff members have no problems since the update. The only unique thing I can think of is that with my host provider is that I automatically forward incoming emails to my gmail account. Some other staff automatically forward thunderbird email to another thunderbird email of the same domain name without an issue. I can get incoming emails from my other thunderbird accounts ending in the same domain name. The emails do show up in the forwarded gmail account.

All my new incoming e-mails are ending up in the trash instead the inbox. This happens since about a week. I have to move all e-mails from the trash to the inbox. There are no active filters, so what is the problem? Also the layout has suddenly changed. Please help.

thunderbird Version 153.2.0esr (64 bits) Hello, following an update, email retrieval is no longer working for an account with a ....@rocketmail.com address. Thunderbird opens a "Yahoo" login window, but when I enter my address, it is flagged as invalid. Fortunately, I am still able to log in to this account via a web browser. (Google translation from French to English)

I can no longer get email from my Yahoo email account. I've gone through all the troubleshooting hints and recommendations, as I understand them, but without any luck.

I only have the one account.

The Activity Manager (see attached) shows "No messages to download", but the message at the bottom left said there were messages, but TB doesn't download them.

On 3 August, Thunderbird was automatically updated on my Mac Mini to Version 155.0. Ever since, all incoming mail is placed in a folder called Satellite Radio, and distribution to the proper mailboxes stops.

Hi all I have recently installed Thunderbird on a PC that didn't have an mail program. Its Win 11 and includes Malwarebytes and Norton 360 for security Thunderbird 154.0, (64 bit)

I followed the set up as I have done many times before and previously had no problem. I am using Plusnet and have set incoming mail as POP3 on port 995. I have set outgoing mail to SMTP and port 465 ( plusnet recommended 587 doesnt work at all) I have set my login name and password. Security is SSL/TLS

Incoming mail is received normally Outgoing mail asks for my password as on attachment Entering a password doesn't work and results in another error message

Inbound emails are going to Trash instead of Inbox.

No changes have been made. How can I check settings to find a solution? I see nothing related to this issue. Thanks for any help.

Again this morning and yesterday I am receiving no incoming messages. The outgoing doesn't work either. You Thunderbird need to find a different server access!!! The server you are using is apparently Connected with my carrier which is Spectrum. They could care less about third parties and they have stated so. Thus nothing gets addressed or fixed!!! I hate to give up on Thunderbird but I might have to. Please help if you can!! Lee Noga

Thunderbird is downloading new messages but failing to display them.

Other functionality remains active, ie I can see and open messages, delete all the contents of folders, compose and send messages, but when the software downloads new messages they simply do not display and cannot be accessed.

Not sure if it's relevant, but the message INBOX count appears to be stuck at the number 59, although more messages than that have been downloaded.

Bizarrely this is the message displayed whenever I now open the Thunderbird application (it was there when the problem first appeared and returns everytime). Out of desperation I even made a donation in the hope it would release the messages!

When I open Thunderbird it is sending my emails directly to the deleted folder. I have tried all-sorts and cannot find an answer. I transferred Thunderbird to my new PC and all was working okay for a few weeks then all of a sudden there were emails missing from my inboxes and I found them in the deleted folder. I am 76 years old and need an easy step by step solution please ..... John

Thunderbird has stopped getting messages and 'get messages' doesn't work & I have to close & restart thunderbird to receive them. Nothing has changed with the email client itself.

I know messages have arrived by checking my providers phone app, but for Thunderbird to download them to my PC I now have to restart Thunderbird to get new messages

Is this a known fluke. In group with more than one email I see the excerpts and can easily deal with them (delete) but if there is only one in a group I can do nothing?

I don't know if this is the correct topic to select but there is nothing more relevant.I am using windows 11 and When I try to delete e mails (G mail) I click on the e mail and then delete. The e mail then disappears and I then quit out of e mails. However the next time i go into my e mails it is back again. The only way i can get them to delete is to again tick the e mail i want to delete and then click delete. If I then go into something else e.g. drafts or spam and then quit out of the e mails when i go back in the e mail i wanted to delete has gone. I have tried resetting firefox but makes no difference
