I've had this strange but intermittent issue for a while (through multiple Firefox versions) where pages will take a long time to load. I haven't timed loads exactly but I can confidently say it's a minimum of 10 seconds. The problem with diagnosing this issue is it's very intermittent; I can go hours or on a rare occassion days without it happening (I think, maybe I've just not registered some of the times it's happened). I have yet to try disabling all addons because of this.

Could you let me know if I am doing something wrong here or change the description to include a timeframe. Saying that I can reopen suggests I can always reopen (see help article quoted below). "You can Save and close group, which will save and close the group for you to be able to re-open from the List all tabs tab icon 2 icon on the tab bar (or the Fx137ListAllTabs toolbar icon, if you use vertical tabs). "
I have lost a number of groups, which is not ideal. I see two tab groups from last four days but no others. See screenshots.

On Windows 10 with 64-bit Firefox, after updating from version 144 to 145, some local HTTP-only servers stopped working and became inaccessible. When I enter http://<local server name>, after a few seconds it automatically changes to https://<local server name>, and since no HTTPS service is running, it ends with a “Server not found” page. It seems to be related to DNS — accessing http://<IP address> works fine.
I tried a clean installation with a new user profile, but it didn’t help. Downgrading to version 144 fixes the problem, but at the cost of losing the user profile (which is a disaster). I also tried to check the HTTP-only settings (which I’ve never modified), but that didn’t help either.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

It takes me to a page that has zero mention of the words "persistent storage". That is a huge UX error. It says to me that really, you don't want me to know about persistent storage, and prefer that I remain confused and feel forced to agree to things I may not really want to, because you're making it difficult to understand what's actually involved. Not cool. Definitely now considering changing my browser after over 20 years.

Why can't I uncheck these boxes? I was actually just trying to disable it for a few, not all of my computers, but, now that it's being forced on me, I'm a bit unhappy with Firefox. I found 'chromeasia.com' autocompleting in the Firefox address bar upon typing 'ch'. I searched History for this and there was no sign of it. I cleared all history data, rebooted, ran a disk cleanup and find that 'chromeasia.com' stil autocompletes upon typing 'ch' in the address bar.

((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.
I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).
I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.
Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

On nearly a daily basis, at some point my Yahoo mail tab indicates a lost internet connection when I have no internet connection issues with any other site... including Yahoo. At first I could simply close the yahoo mail tab and reload it, but now I have to log completely out of my computer to restart it. If I simply try to open mail again, the tab simply continually searches for the site (at this point it has been trying to open the site for about 15 min). In searching for a fix, I found numerous other people have had the same issue (seems to go back as far as 2023, but in only started for me since upgrading to a new laptop). It seems to be only a Mozilla Firefox issue - but since Mozilla is my preferred browser I'd like to see if there is a fix before moving to another browser. Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.
Any idea where to go to solve this issue?
