if i search something on firefox the search bar doesnt show english and after clicking enter for the answer sometimes it doesnt come in english. i have chosen english as the only language but sometimes i get results in bangla too. i want my results to be in english only.

In Settings>General>Language, why is there an option to "Use your operating system settings for “English (Zimbabwe)” to format dates, times, numbers, and measurements." . I can't find any documentation for this. Is there an interesting 'Zimbabwe' format or feature? If so, what is it?

Do I need to add an email filter?

When I set Firefox's language to English, the translation panel doesn't automatically appear or ask to translate other languages when I'm on English websites. I would like to request a feature that allows the translation panel to always be pinned to the search bar. Even better, if possible, it could also be pinned to the right-click context menu.

Hello, I really love the translate functionality. In some pages I see very specific terms which are very specific, can I modify the local dictionary after I download it, add the terms somehow and then share it with my peers using the same website?

The offline package download speed is too slow and sometimes fails. I hope it can be provided separately, like interface language packs, just as Debian has separate interface language packs.

Hi, The translation feature is a great and much-needed addition. It was one of the main reasons I kept using Chrome, so having it in Firefox—on both desktop and Android—is fantastic. Thank you!

I’ve noticed that to access the translation option, you have to right-click the selected text using a mouse or touchpad. The keyboard’s right-click key, however, doesn’t open the context menu for the selected text, so the translation option isn’t available. This makes it inconvenient for keyboard-focused users.

It would also be very helpful to have built-in pronunciation for selected text. I tried several add-ons that offer this, but none worked reliably. This feature would complement translation nicely.

Finally, it might improve usability to show a small popup button beside selected text to trigger translation—similar to what some translation extensions already do. While I personally prefer keyboard shortcuts, this could enhance accessibility for others.

Everytime i search something online (e.g. in reddit) firefox translates the post in german. Even though i have translate english cleary turned off.

Do i need to change my browser or am i missing something?
