Why does firefox keep my log in information on At&T yahoo and facebook even though I say do not remember password and I clear everything in history?

more options

When I log out of Facebook I find that my log in information is in the boxes at the top of the screen as well as the "Sign Up" area. I delete these each time and clear everything in the Clear History drop down. However, when I enter the first initial of my email address in the "Sign Up" area in Facebook, it pulls up my email address and then when I click on that option it enters my password.

My log in information is also recorded on the At&T yahoo log in page. Even though "keep my logged in" is not checked and I have never asked Firefox to keep that password.

Clear History doesn't affect password storage. You can delete this saved password using the Options window under the security panel. This article shows you where the "saved passwords" button is. Once you click that, you can delete the entries for each site individually.
