I have never had a problem typing in Chinese in previous versions of Firefox, but now, suddenly I can't seem to do it at all. As soon as I switch languages from English to Chinese and start typing, I get this weird long window at the bottom of the screen where the Chinese text I am typing appears, instead of appearing in the correct input area of the interactive webpage. The text then does not register correctly in the form either. For example, if I go to www.taobao.com (a sales site a bit like Amazon.com), and I want to do a search within Taobao for a product, using the Chinese name of the product, I can't do it because I can't get the Chinese name to register on the input line for the search. I have had this problem on every site I've tried, including both sites in Chinese and English. The minute I switch into Chinese, I can't input anything into the site, but English works fine.
