Why aren't my drop down menu special icons showing up?

Before I cleared cache icons to the left of the webpage name showed in my drop down menu. Having those icons there make it easier for me to spot the item on the drop down menu I want. Now that I have to re-enter websites that show on the drop down menu, the icons aren't loading. I'm wondering if there is a way to get the icons to show.
