all other browsers work fine apart from firefox since the latest update , I have been a firefox user for 20 years and if this continues then I will have to quit using it . Tried everything i can think of and it still doesn't work

For what it's worth Bernie, I'm seeing the same thing, and opened my own ticket yesterday. This does seem to either be a Firefox issue, or Facebook made a change that now hinders Firefox making voice/video FB Messenger calls. This is my ticket, fyi. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1386091

I'm sure they'll fix it. For what it's worth I determined that other browsers can initiate voice and video messages on Facebook no problem. That's what I'm doing in the meantime, using another browser for voice chat, until they resolve this.

Since other browsers work but FireFox doesn't, the issue is probably something Facebook changed behind the scenes, and the techs at Mozilla will just need to determine what that is.

Indeed , that is half the problem , so used to using firefox having to use edge or chrome doesn't feel right , and being an old man I am not liking having to change to something i am not familiar with

I just noticed. Apparently it was something on the Facebook side of the equation.
