All tabs were, under 'bookmarks', "bookmark this page" now first tab has "edit this bookmark" and all the rest are as original, how get first tab back to orig?

Originally the first tab had, under the bookmarks menu, "Bookmark this page Ctl+D". All new tabs had the same. The first tab now has, "Edit this bookmark Ctl+D", but any new tabs still have "Bookmark this page Ctl+D". How to restore the original "Bookmark this page Ctl+D" to the first tab menu again?
