After upgrade to Windows 10, my bookmarks display for only second or two and there is not enough time to scroll down to the bookmark.

If I move quickly I can get to a bookmark. The bookmarks will display without disappearing but if I touch the mouse on the laptop the list of bookmarks disappears. Thanks. Ron

Did you try Safe Mode?

Hello,

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options on Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.
  2. Select the Advanced panel and then the General tab.
  3. Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
  4. Restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

If the problem is resolved, you should check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in these Knowledge base articles:

Thank you.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>

I hope this is what you need. Everything jumps around so much in the address bar that I have trouble even typing yahoo. I start typing the y and the drop down address comes up and the y is highlighted, then it disappears when I try to finish typing "yahoo". Thanks Ron

I tried the fix and unchecked the "Use Hardware Acceleration When Available". That did not make any difference. Could this be a problem not associated with Mozilla? Any other suggestions? Thanks Ron

It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.
