When I forward a message to someone, I have the problem, that since ca. 2024 (a new version), at the beginning of my message are included (reproduced) all the informations from the original sender. It includes half a page or more of dates, which nobody needs. How can I reduce it?

I recently updated Thunderbird and it seems the universal inbox now includes all subfolders. I, of course, just want the universal inbox to include the inbox folders of my various accounts. I understand that I can right click the universal inbox and click 'Choose' to manually unselect the folders but I have hundreds of subfolders over many email accounts and it's an extremely tedious process. I am also setting up several computers.
So, a few solutions I have thought of: 1- Is there a way to change the universal inbox to include only the top level inbox? 2- Is there a way to change the default universal inbox to include nothing and I manually select the inbox folder(s)? 3- Could a 'select none' button be added on the 'Choose folder' dialog?
On a related note, another annoying thing is now anytime I create a new subfolder it automatically is added to the universal inbox so I have to go to the properties, find it, and deselect it. Since I use several computers every time I create a new subfolder I have to repeat this process on each computer.
Thunderbird is still awesome - updates just changed this behavior and I find it very annoying. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I recently set up thunderbird for a User on a New Laptop w Win 10 64 Bit I am using thunderbird Version 128.5.2esr 64 Bit For some reason when he gets a Calendar meeting invite the The "This Message contains and invitation to an event" Blue Tab is missing completely. I have compared settings to my thunderbird and absolutely cannot figure out why this is missing on his. I am attaching screen shots. I'm running Thunderbird because Windows mail Live 2011 finally got shut down. I've set it up with multiple gmail, hotmail and my websites email accounts, but the Hotmail passwords/logins keep getting altered between accounts and I get login errors (see pic). I'll go back straighten it out and the various accounts will pick up another accounts smtp info and populate it to all the hotmail accounts. Only seems to happen to the Hotmail accounts. It will then automatically ping hotmail with the incorrect info so many times that I'll get locked out and have to regenerate a new pw. The mix up is sort of like- Hotmail 1 - Hotmail 2 smtp Hotmail 2 - Hotmail 2 smtp Hotmail 3 - Hotmail 2 smtp Hotmail 4 - Hotmail 2 smtp Gmail 1 - Gmail 1 smtp (ok) Me@myweb.com - Me@myweb.com smtp (ok)
