Hello,

How do i get notifications when using a pwa? Like with X(twitter) with the app i get notifications but with the pwa i don't get any notifications. How can i fix this?

I have the xpi android file for check4change in my android but don't know how to add to the add-on on Firefox, i tried to open the xpi file using file manager but no option of Firefox in file manager to run the xpi file. Need help please

Hi so few days ago I broke my phone it's now completely unusable so now in this new phone I signed into Firefox and sure I got all my synced bookmarks and all but where are my saved tab collections?? That feature is so good which is why I saved like 30 tabs in there but none of them show up after sync please help!

So, I was redirected here after posting a review of the Firefox app on the play store. This is honestly quite embarrassing for me, especially if it's because my problem is actually a simple mistake, but I assume it'll be worth it if I can get some help here. So not very long after I downloaded Firefox, I noticed that after some time (I can't actually pinpoint an exact time, unfortunately.), my private tabs will close, and I'll only have one that is not on any of the websites that I was on. I figured this was because my tab settings, but I checked multiple times, and I have the close tabs setting set to "never." (Close manually.) Is this an issue on my part, or is there potentially something wrong with the application or my phone? I apologize if this is a bit ridiculous, but I was also wondering how Firefox will notify me if I accidentally tap/click on a dangerous/suspicious link or website, do I get a visible warning on my screen? Or do I have to check to see if the connection is secure? (I use Google with Firefox.) If this was something I could've just looked up, then again, I apologize.

I'm having trouble with Bing not using the layout I want it to on my tablet. On edge, another chromium browsers, Bing will render with a nice tablet layout. But on Firefox for android on my Pixel Tablet, Bing renders a stretched out version of the smartphone page. Is there anyway that I can change the user agent so that I can make it load differently?

I keep getting notifications that I need to purchase antivirus McAvee and that I have several virus that need to be taken care of. My McAvee account I did not renew this year nor do I desire to at anytime in the near future. I want to know why Firefox keeps sending me messages to purchase it. I would appreciate an answer so I know that my options are. Thanks you.

Hi. I'm looking to maximize my privacy on Android Firefox and installed a bunch of addons to help reach that goal. But looking a little closer, it seems there are some are very similar and I wonder if I'm overdoing it by adding too many addons, I have 7 enabled. Is there advice as to the minimum set of addons to enable for the maximim protection? One I found most useful and I'd like to keep is Hello, Goodbye which removes the chatbot popups that seem to be taking over the web.

In order to complete last update I had to Uninstaller and reinstall Firefox for Android. Now all my collections are gone !!!!! How can I retrieve My Colections?

I don't want emails from Pocket.

AND

I want to keep Google and Chrome as my main company and browser.

Do I need to uninstall Pocket?

Our team is considering a product for Android GO devices. So we're trying to mount the Firefox app here.

Because Android GO devices are low-end products (= RAM size : 2GB) An app such as Firefox Lite is more suitable than Firefox.

However, I found out that Firefox Lite support has ended. I also found articles mentioning Firefox Focus as a replacement.

I have sent the link from my laptop to my new Samsung s22 several times which it downloads from Play store. all good. When I try to sign in from my Samsung to pair the devices it will not accept the password. EVEN THOUGH IT IS CORRECT and the email is correct. I use this password successfully to open my MozillaAccount on my laptop ...... now 20 times later it is driving me CRAZY.

Is there any way to prevent private tabs from closing automatically?

I like to keep my private tabs open all the time and, even with the proper setting, they close every night.

I have several collections that I would like to transfer to my new android. I tried sharing them, but they do not show up on my new device. How can I transfer collections from my old android to my new android?

I'm on Android 14 on a Pixel 7 and was browsing the web using Firefox when I received a popup that doesn't look legit. But I wanted to verify that before I assume. Could this have come from Firefox? If not, is it a sign of malware?

When Android system updates are available they usually show up in my notifications feed and this didn't. And the appearance of it is different. I have notifications set to "off" for Firefox. I went to the Play store and saw an update was available and installed it (confused as to why it didn't self install though - according to this page it should update automatically: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-release).
