When I open new tab in background there is a notification window with a link to this tab. Usually this message appeared on the bottom of the screen but lately it appears on the top. New position is hard to reach. Is there a way to move it to the old position?

in previous versions the 3 dots menu would open up the newer redesigned main menu that fills the lower 2/3rds of the screen by default, but by enabling debug settings and going into Nimbus Experiments and disabling "Android UI Redesign - Release" it could be changed back to the older, more compact dropdown-styled menu. as of one of the recent updates, the "Android UI Redesign - Release" toggle seemingly does nothing.

I preferred the older menu for several reasons. one issue being that the new menu lacks a new tab button. the others being that it just _feels_ subtly yet annoyingly worse in just about every way.

so, is there any way to still use this old menu, via about:config settings or something? or am I just SOL and need to figure out how to downgrade my version?

Hello,

I am using a website with text input fields in a dialog box. When I open the dialog box (show_modal()), I see the entire dialog box (Figure 1). When I type in one of the text fields, it automatically enlarges (Figure 2). How can I prevent this?

Greetings..

hey, have a little issue: it seems i'm not able to change the app icon (android). i've followed the instructions found in https://support.mozilla.org/es/kb/customize-app-icon-firefox-android ; updated the app at the store, rebooted my device and finally (the problem persisted) uninstalled and installed again Firefox app. still nothing, the option does not appear. i'm adding an scrrenshot. very thank you.

Hi!

Suddenly the entire UI of the browser has changed. I have a big bar at the bottom of the screen taking far too much space with buttons I hardly ever need. And when I do need them I know where to find them. Thus they need not be as available as that (read: constantly in the way). It's not enough that it goes away when I scroll down as it pops up as soon as I scroll up again, along with the address bar.

How do I remove this bottom bar? The older UI was far better and didn't take this much space.

Thanks!

When reading Wikipedia pages such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_model_(set_theory), symbols like "∈" are rendered in a font that looks ugly. I thought this was a problem with my Xiaomi phone, but I just found out that my system browser renders the page correctly.

I want to upload screenshots but the page seems to be stuck with the prompt "Uploading "1000003213.jpg"...", so I am going to submit this first and try to add the screenshots later.

When using Firefox for Android on a Xiaomi phone, some math symbols on certain websites look incorrect. For example, symbols like “=” appear in a different font style than expected. The same pages display correctly in the system browser. Firefox and the phone system are up to date. Is this related to system fonts or a known limitation in Firefox for Android?

It appears you can't hide Collections from home page like you can, say, for Bookmarks. Wondering why?

A suggestion and request (for the developers) give Collections its own page like Bookmarks, History, Downloads etc? And should not Collections be located in that same Settings area where these other categories are listed?

Thanks for considering this,

Keith

So, I noticed that the default font Firefox uses on Android when nothing is specified is a sans-serif font. But I would like to use serif.

I've already seen an answer to change the values of "font.name.sans-serif.x-unicode" and "font.name.sans-serif.x-western" in about:config (also "font.name.sans-serif.x-user-def", but that must have been removed, nothing shows up when I search it), but I haven't gotten it to work. I assume I'm not inputting the right value. What should I set as the value to get it to use a serif font? Or is there another way I should do this?
