I accidentally clicked remember on my credit card when checking out from a cite. I do not understand how to delete it. Every guide online says there is a tab under "Privacy & Security", but when I look for it it does not exist. I have tried searching, cross-referencing its placement in the menu from the videos, but I cant find it. I've cleared my data from the last 2 hours, but still no difference. From the videos it should be between Password and History, but the setting is not there.

Firefox for Windows just updated to v146.0. Now I seem to have an extra bar under my toolbar and address panel. How do I remove it? I can't seem to drag it in the menu customiser.

The recent new "window fades away" when closing Firefox (or upon saving a file) is weirdly annoying and unnecessary imho. Obviously not a deal breaker, but I'd prefer if the window just closed. I don't need to wistfully watch it fade away. Thanks for the chance to offer input. Why am I even writing this.

I sure hope my bookmarks don't disappear like folks I'm seeing here today.

Hello I have an issue going on with the autofill info that I use. When I type my name, my 1st name comes out fine but when I type my last name it's now a misspelled last name. Seems like it all started with a new banking company that I'm with now. I 1st notice it there and I had to fill out forms to correct the info with them and it was kind of a hassle. I noticed that there was one extra letter added to my last name when I looking at my account info. Maybe when I was initially filling out my personal info with them, I might have spelled my last name incorrectly. I'm not sure. Sometimes I type words wrong. I'm not the greatest at typing. But since then I've noticed my auto fill info, my last name, has been bringing up that same incorrect last name. How can I fix that. I see solutions for editing addresses and passwords but nothing about names, personal info. Anybody know how I can fix this. It has become a nuisance. Thank you ahead of time.

Certain PDFs only allow page view when opened in Firefox. When opened with other PDF viewing software or browsers (Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome), these PDFs allow continuous scrolling. I don't have this issue for most PDFs.

I've tried fixing the problem by editing the PDF settings in Adobe Acrobat but to no avail. When combining a PDF that works fine with a PDF that doesn't allow continuous scrolling in Firefox, it seems to take on the settings of not allowing continuous scrolling.

I have no idea what Firefox did with the update but it made navigating my Substack a royal pain in the neck. I cannot post, cannot edit, cannot share posts. Very infuriating. I have had to go back to Edge to get these features to work. Dashboard link does not work. Share link does not work. Cannot post comments. Infuriating.

Another Windows update, another instance of Firefox bookmarks being inaccessible :-( "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Now what? What are we supposed to do? Is Firefox doing anything about this problem, since it's become a regular occurrence? Help, please!

When the YouTube shorts tab is open, if I want to open another tab, it immediately starts scrolling. When a shorts show starts, I click the "plus" button and it immediately scrolls down. I hope you get the idea.

Whenever I use the picture in picture feature on Firefox to watch something while doing other things,it has randomly gained these black bars on the side of the image and I can't work out what is different? If this is a quick fix, I haven't been able to find it, sorry!

Can one remove the green dot update notification on pinned tabs without having to create an bespoke css file? Think some sites spoof this to get you to click on them.

As I said in the subject, my sidebar moved to the right side of the screen, and now takes up over half of the entire screen. I think this can be fixed in settings, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I updated to version 146 today on Windows 10 and had to use administrator credentials. I have Mozilla Maintenance Service previously installed. I tried uninstalling MMS and then re-installed FF using full installer and selecting the custom option to install MMS. I cannot see the option in Settings..General 'Use a background service to install updates' (Screenshot attached) How can I fix this issue which has been present for some time?

The minimize, maximize, close line at the top of the screen is missing when Firefox opens. If I click the Firefox icon in the task manager to minimize it and click it again to maximize it, then the missing line at the top appears. This has been an ongoing glitch for a week or more. Perhaps you can fix this minor problem?

I have an old Laptop which works perfectly for what I need, and I use Firefox for my Browser.

I had to shutdown my Laptop and everything seemed Ok on reboot. However, I can no longer access my Gmail account as I apparently "need Chrome" to get access...?

Do I? If so - how do I get it installed on my system?
