I get an error message when trying to login to the Social Security website with Firefox. Works with Chrome. The problem just started. Here is the error message.

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I used to be able to ask a question on Firefox and get an answer. Now when I ask for information all I get is advertisements pertaining to the question I am asking.

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

I have looked at all my settings: I can't see anything wrong. Any ideas?

Hi, I have been a user of Firefox on Macs ever since it first appeared as many websites simply did not work with Safari. The latest version of Firefox is causing me a fair amount of grief however. The main Menubar now extends more than two thirds the way across my screen (M4 Macbook air 15") so that menus for the OS are now not visible. I have buttons for, WiFi, Bluetooth, Time Machine, Volume, Battery, Time, Spotlight and Keyboard Maestro, which I use on a regular basis. It works fine on my second monitor but obviously I don't carry that with me when I'm away from home :-) I do not use the Profiles, Tools or Help Menus at all, so is there a way to remove them easily and permanently? This would enable me to see all of my OS control buttons Thank You

Hi, I'm running Firefox 145 on a MacBook Air, with MacOS 12.7.6 (Monterey). When I try to add a bookmark to an existing folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, it will not show up. It does show up if I go to the hamburger menu, and then Bookmarks/Recent Bookmarks, but not from the Toolbar. This is true for any folder on the Toolbar. I do not have this problem with Firefox 145 on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Is this a bug or a feature? Please advise, and thanks.

I *always* use private pgs for shopping then when I find what I want I go to a regular page to make my purchases then delete the cookies immediately afterwards.

Apparently now we can't block location settings ?? or a Do Not Track?? I opened a new Private browser window for a website that apparently immediately asks for your location and lo and behold there I am(!!) Shocked to say the least especially since sometimes in the past even when I tried to use my location for whatever reason it wasn't showing up precisely but in an area over 100 sq miles. So what's up? For many reasons I won't go into here I really REALLY don't want my location to be available.

Good news 1: I'm trying to move away from Safari towards Firefox :-) Good news 2: there are loads of KB shortcuts in Firefox :-)

Bad news: after using Safari for > 15 years I'm confused and make a lot of mistakes in using shortcuts :-(

Suggestion: although there is a webpage explaining clearly all shortcuts, it would be handy to provide a downloadable PDF document with an (compact) overview of shortcuts. A 2-page document to be printed recto/verso would be extremely usefull to have at hand.

Glad you folks have included an update to the 'profiles'. However, I'm having trouble with it. I previously created two profiles using 'about:profiles' function. However, only of them has mapped on to the new profiles feature. When I try to add a profile in the new way to do it, I can only create a new one, I can't transfer a pre-existing.

See attachments. One shows the new profile manager with the 'work' profile. The second shows the 'about:profiles' with both 'work' and 'life'. How to I add 'life' to the new profile manager?

trying to get into my website editing site - once i'm in, the particular page i want isn't loading. I've deleted cache, tried opening on Safari and it's still not working.

It works on my android phone.
