I was prompted to install a .js file while on a website unrelated to mozilla organization. I was taking a work call and distracted at the time and was dumb enough to install it before I realized this was not a normal update. Should I uninstall and reinstall firefox? Hello there,

Before (an update perhaps?), it was possible to click on a star icon located in the toolbar and it'd open the bookmarks like the bookmarks1 screenshot. Now, it requires to first click on the sidebar thingy, which allows to access the icons on the far right, which includes the bookmarks icon in question.

There's also another icon for bookmarks that can be put directly in the toolbar (bookmarks2 pic), yes, but it doesn't show all the bookmarks right away, it's not the same

So the question is: how do I do to get the Ctrl B Icon/shortcut directly in the toolbar, like it was before? I don't want to be obligated to use the sidebar when I have plenty of space left in the standard toolbar..

Thanks in advance!

I have had this problem for many years now. When I complete a customer journey on some sites, usually with a payment involved, the final submit button doesn't work at all, and I have to redo the transaction on Chrome.

This happened yesterday on Ryanair's site and, by the time I gave up and redid the journey on Chrome, certain prices went up. So, now I'm losing money :-(

Firefox has been my default browser for a decade or more, despite my husband's teasing me about this issue, but I might have to give up and make the switch to Chrome or Edge. Please help!

Please note that Firefox clears my cookies every time I close my browser.

Thanks!

Despite pop ups being barred on my system I get the attached several times a day. Does anyone recognise it and how can I stop it? I have no Firefox extensions, and have run Norton without finding any problems. There is no indication of its source. It has been on my system for more than a month. Thank you Colin O'Brien

Guten Tag lieber Support,

So I've been having two different but equally annoying issues with Firefox for a while (I know it's Firefox itself because other browsers and my internet connection in general is fine).

One: After my computer has been rebooted, all websites forget my device/act like this is a new device and log me out. I have to go through logging back in and also confirming it's me for certain things every time there's a restart.

Two: It doesn't happen immediately after the computer has been restarted, but eventually things load very sluggishly and even stop loading altogether, off and on, like I am having internet issues/disconnection.

Could these things be connected or am I just having two separate, annoying things happening at the same time? Thanks for the help.

I am old-school security conscious & have been using FF since its inception. Really. Clear my cache & delete browsing cookies on a regular basis. I use a private window for shopping and q&a info gathering. Recently I saw Walmart.com showing up in my cookies and couldn't figure out how/why as I *only* look at Walmart in a private window. Today I realized Walmart has managed to bypass the private window options and place cookies anyway! To say I'm furious about this is an understatement. I have adjusted my settings to "Strict" but it's still able to bypass the private window and is staying on my computer. I am updated to the most recent FF version; running MacOs Sonoma 14.7.7 which was just recently updated; I'm not going past this one for now but that really shouldn't be the issue. This is most definitely a FF issue and one that needs to be rectified not just because it's Walmart but because if they can do it so can others soon enough. This cannot stand.

I've been logged in to my Firefox browser on this laptop computer for at least ten, and probably more like fifteen years, nonstop, so why am I all of a sudden being "disconnected" every time I close my computer, without turning it off, and without having changed any of my settings? We are having periodic micro power outages lately, just long enough to make the microwave clock need to be reset, but I have turned off my computer many times in those years, both sleep/hibernate, and off, no power, so I doubt that's what's causing this, but....Can anyone help me, please -- it is becoming a serious pain to have to re-log in every time I open my computer and go to my browser. Thanks, D.Ridge

Hello. I have a question about the browser settings in the company. The boss requires you to set up access to the sites through a proxy. We use Microsoft Edge for corporate websites, and Mozilla Firefox is used to work on other sites with electronic signatures. The setup is as follows. 1. The proxy is set manually. 2. The specified addresses are registered in the settings. 2.1. about:config/network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris 2.2. network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris 2.3. network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris And now the question. Can such settings affect access to and work with other sites? I'm sorry for my English)

2.1. about:config/network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris 2.2. network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris 2.3. network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris А теперь вопрос. Такие настройки могут повлиять на доступ к другим сайтам и работе с ними?
