I have been having a lot of trouble using the LastPass extension. I used to get a message saying "This is taking too long - Do you want to use Offline Data. Now I just get a message say an error occurred. I would then go to the LastPass web page to log in. I get the same message.

In desperation I downloaded Google Chrome and don't have a problem there, but I don't like using Google Chrome. I have been a long standing user of Firefox so do not want to change.

Hi all,

I'm an English speaker in Germany, and I'm trying to add amazon.de as a search shortcut, using the official steps (right click on address bar, choose 'add Amazon').

However, I'm getting the following error: Firefox could not download the search plugin from: https://d2lo25i6d3q8zm.cloudfront.net/browser-plugins/AmazonSearchSuggestionsOSD.Firefox.xml

I've seen similar calls for help that seem to stretch back years, but alas they appear to have had slightly different symptoms/solutions that don't seem to apply to my situation.

I have never used this setting. When a addon update is released, I want to see release notes. I want to see what has been improved, fixed,if and how the options have been altered, etc.

Several weeks ago this happened, and I found seven items in the "recent updates" section.

I just happened to go to the went to the addons manager today, and realized it had been selected again, with another addon in recent updates.

Does this have something to do with a browser update automatically making the selection?

Even if it is selected, why is there not at least some type of notification that updates are being made?

The settings have the option for notifying if a browser update is available? Why not have the same for addons?

I have been setting up Passkeys to log in to the websites which allow them. But I have noticed on Paypal, they do not allow me to use passkey when using firefox, it only seems to allow chrome

Is there an issue with firefox which deems it not suitable for passkeys?

I noticed that sopmeone asked this question this time last year and it was advised that firefox is now able to create and store passkeys Paypal still dont seem to allow it?

Dashlane security issue loading on Firefox

I cannot get my Dashlane extension to work with Firefox but it does work fine with Chrome and Edge so it is not a PC problem on my end. Until this week, it worked just fine. After updated my browser, I can no longer successfully log onto my Dashlane account. I first get a screen asking for my log in email. Once entered, a screed appear with "Performing a security check." This is the point were normally a Captcha screen would appear. Instead, the next screen to appear is "something went wrong. An unexpected error occured during the security check. Please close this tab and try again.". I click on the close this tab button and am sent to a log in page for Dashlane that requests the verification code that was sent to you contact email. No code arrives although I have gotten emails from using the other browsers so it is not a case of blocked emails. This is obviously a security issue but I can't resolve it. I have listed Dashlane as an exception under Cookies and Site Data to allow cookies. I also made it an exception for enhanced tracking protection. No luck. Using firefox 138.0.4 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Need help please!!

I've installed a couple of dark mode extensions since I can't use Dark Reader and NordPass at the same time due to a bug. I wanted to disable / uninstall them, but I can't find them anywhere when I go to about:addons and they're not showing up in the mini-menu on the toolbar.

Is there a way for me to still find them so that I can remove them?
