I can place the cursor anywhere in hotmail when I use Firefox, if I reply to an email I can not send fonts. First i mast copy, paste a word, then Ican continuou

I am only having difficulty in replying hotmail when using Firefox 12.0 . Opening hotmail is OK, and so is reading emails. The problem starts ONLY when I try to reply an email, or when including pictures to repley email. The email composition page within hotmail opens up, but then I can not begin to type, first I have to copy and past a word . Then i can wrhit further. When I closed in a picture, al the text is goes away and I must begin all over again. I dont have this problem in I.E.
