Firefox does not load at all any more - help please!

Have tried uninstalling & reloading it. Have also changed Norton 360 firewall settings as per help page (removed then added and set to 'allow') but no good :( I'm going crazy, please help!

Is it hanging ? have you looked for the firefox.exe process using something such as the Windows task manager. Do you find the process ? Presumably Firefox has worked previously on the same computer, can you confirm that?
