Greetings. How do I set a photo from my pictures library to my FF homepage? I asked this several months ago, figured it out, then lost it again, and can't regain. I'm using v88.0.1, because the update to 90 doesn't work for me, so I assume anything later won't either, if it's built on top of it. Thanks for any relevant responses or suggestions.

Chosen solution

You can open that picture in a tab (File -> Open File) and drag this tab on the toolbar home button.

Thank you, cor-el. You've helped before, and I appreciate it. Just as last time, as soon as I posted the question, I solved the problem. This part-time thingy is a PITA. I did it a little differently, but effectively. Thanks again.

Hi mnosera

Can you tell us what steps you used as that might be helpful to others ?

I noticed you mentioned this also in a previous thread where you posted about this subject.

Greetings, cor-el. I went to the "lock screen" setting. Under the "choose your picture" option, there's an option to browse the directory where photos are kept. I chose the photo I wanted, and copied the file address, then pasted it into the search bar of the "custom url" option in the "Home" section of the FF Options page. Then I copied the page to my downloads directory, so if I forget how to do it again (which I will-guaranteed.), I can go to the directory and see what I did. Howzat? Again, thanks for your help.

You're welcome.

Now you wrote down the steps in this thread, so you can look at your post here to reread how you did this previously .
