error on secondary email verification

I tried to set a secondary email for my new Firefox Support account. I did receive a confirmation link email in the secondary account. when I clicked the Verify link nothing happened. after a while I used the email's view-in-browser link, which opened Edge and displayed the original email. when I clicked that Verify link I got the following error on the subsequent page.

Set secondary email through One Trust verification never completes for me also. It is also sad to see so much info about me on One Trust that I do not give out. One Trust acts more like malware than something I can trust.
