Firefox stops loading pages when I use Facebook for a short while.

It's kinda weird. When I browse any other site, the browser works just fine. When I scroll through Facebook, the site either stops loading more content or the links I click fail to load. When that happens, all other sites stop loading and I need to restart the browser to get it to connect again.

This started happening yesterday when I made the switch from Waterfox to Firefox after hearing about the 64-bit update. I'm currently using version 44.0.2.

The first thing I tried was deleting my cache and cookies. This issue felt similar to what was posted on this page, so I tried following that as well (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can). I removed and added FF from and to my firewall, changed to no proxy, disabled IPv6, disabled DNS Prefetching, and ran a virus scan.

Is there anything else I can try to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
