I can't backup my bookmarks from another computer??
My computer went to be repaired for an virus so I used my friend's computer and when I downloaded Firefox I signed in and looked at my bookmarks and I saw that they weren't up to date so I decided to go to the backup tab in show all my bookmarks and I accidentally clicked the most recent one. That's also the only backup one too which had the same date when I downloaded Firefox on that computer and apparently that "backup" had nothing in it, it was just the bookmark stuff that Firefox has already. So it completely erased all my bookmarks and all i have are the Mozilla bookmarks. I don't have any saved files on my original computer right now to back up my bookmarks because everything got wiped away. is there any other way Firefox can retrieve my bookmarks? :(

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,
Did you use Sync before to sync the bookmarks if that is what you mean with "I signed in"?
If you were connected to Sync when you cleared the bookmarks then they likely have been removed from the Sync server. The same if you have reset the password of the Sync account.
Yeah I did sync my bookmarks to the other computer if that's what you're saying...?
I accidentally wiped my bookmarks when i clicked this on the new firefox
EDIT: I missed your screenshot and see that you only have one backup with the 14 default items like you wrote before, so that rules out the option to restore a backup. You will have to wait until the other computer returns and hope that the bookmarks are still there.
Was there already a compressed .jsonlz4 created in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Restore
