how do I find favorites on firefox home page?

When I used Internet Explorer I would go to tools and then click on favorites to bring up items I have saved to the favorites file. Can't seem to find the equivalent on firefox. Please keep in mind that if I received the name 'computer illiterate' it would be a promotion.

In Firefox that feature is known as bookmarks. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/create-bookmarks-save-your-favorite-webpages

Also, if you like working from the menu bar, you can bring it up temporarily by pressing Alt. Or if you want it there all the time, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and tick/check Menu Bar.

As mentioned above, IE 'favorites' is Bookmarks in Firefox.
