when i have more than 10 pages open the app starts crashing, won't let me go back as well and sometimes just reloads. There were also situations in which he grabbed me without me doing anything. I have about 4-5 extensions (in the photo). I'm using Samsung Galaxy S24, my previous was A52 (I had no problem with it)

I am writing to request assistance with an issue I am encountering on the latest version of the Firefox browser for Android. My goal is to open specified pages in the same tab using Intent from a third-party custom application. However, I have observed that different URLs open in separate tabs, contrary to my expectations.  Current Implementation:  Here is the code snippet I am currently using: java： Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); intent.setData(uri); intent.putExtra(Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID, packageName); startActivity(intent); Expected Behavior:  I expect different URLs to open in the same tab without opening new tabs. This functionality is crucial for my application.  Issue Background:  I have researched similar issues and found that users have had comparable needs using Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID. Unfortunately, it appears that Firefox has not fully addressed this functionality. The EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID is a feature that modern browsers should ideally support to enhance user experience and maintain continuity within a single tab. 2 issues I have with android FF.......

I want my tabs like in the PC version,in a line across the top. Not hidden under a click me to see tabs.

History keeps showing in shortcuts,how to stop that?

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

as described, send tab function does not work one way (android to PC), but works fine from PC to android mobile phone/tablet. the pop-up error is the "Unable to send - RETRY", and pressing 'RETRY' doesn't do anything. I am logged in to the mozilla account on both android devices, and firefox sync/syncing tabs work fine. not sure what's the issue

Whenever the app leaves the foreground, even for half a second, or if I switch tabs and then return to the original tab, it refreshes and I lose all the data on it. When I need to copy information to fill out a form, or get a code from a 2fa app, I lose all the the progress. This is driving me crazy and making it almost impossible for me to use Firefox as my main browser. I shouldn't have to restart a whole form because I got a phone call and went to the call screen for a second. Battery optimizations are all disabled.

Tabs on android app "unload" themselves whenever I minimize the browser I'm 100% sure I've toggled an option to kill apps when they're minized in phone settings, and thus issue only happens with the Firefox browser and nothing else. I have the latest version.

Seems to be a bug on Firefox on Android where the tabs don't show the right page. I haven't been able to track down exact steps to reproduce, but it happens regularly on my phone.

I use Firefox with Video Background Play Fix. It worked properly on my old phone, but doesn't work on my current phone. Playing unexpectedly stops sometimes, usually when I launch another app, but sometimes in my pocket.

I tried to add to about:config (in firefox nigtly) browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory = false . There is no such option in current version. I tried to add manually, but it didn't help.

OVER THREE YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING THIS. When I tap a link in an app, I want it to open IN FIREFOX. Not some custom tab. Not some special pseudo in-app environment. IN. FIREFOX. EVERY OTHER browser on Android can do this. Don't give me some BS answer about removing Firefox as my default browser, either. That causes it to either open in the app I'm using, or the phone's built-in browser, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE SECURE. If you really care about security, like you're trying to sell us you are, you will fix this yesterday.

So, I have 3 devices I have sync turned on, two laptops, and android phone. Laptops are where I do most of my actual work work, but the phone is where I get ideas and orders and things like that from, so where I do a lot of that stuff from. Now, I know how to open all on the laptops, but, I have only found a way to do this one tab at a time on android.

and I have been slowly opening the tabs one at a time, but i have around 840 tabs left to open.

I know this will severely slow the phone down for a while, while it attempts to do this, but I am more than willing to set my phone down over night for this...

Is there a way to search through my open tabs? If not, PLEASE create that feature.

Also, is there a way to see the previous pages that have been opened in a tab? Right now, I have to just keep backspacing through previous tabs hoping to find the one I'm looking for. If not, please ad d a way to view and select previously opened tabs before I start backspacing through them.

Is there a way to sort open tabs, at least alphabetically? If not, that would be a very nice feature to have.

Hi. Why on Android if i open proton email one box in one CART tab. And then i open new tab CART and i want to open another email proton. Diffrent email but the same domian its not posible opning, only one e-mail in two tabs? Why only on Android its not work! On PC is no problem! Why?

I open a new tab (link from email or a other page usually). I read the bloody thing. I click the number of open tabs to display all open. I close the tab with the x. It goes away (closes). It gives me the option to undo. I wait until that goes away. I wait few more seconds and swipe down on the "open tabs" frame. It closes and the number says 7. It agrees with what I see open, and the visible content is from tab #7 I wait 5 minutes. I close Firefox and wait 5-10 minutes. I open Firefox... I'm up to 22 now. This has been going on for about a week (at least) now.

In the past before this started happening, occasionally if I was moving too fast it would happen, so I would go slower (I thought cache) and it would work. Now, it's ridiculous.

NOTE : there are 7 tabs I want to keep open for now... I've been trying to close all the rest for some time now!

How to access inactive tabs in Firefox for Android? In options I have set to never close tabs but an option for inactive tabs was set to 2 weeks. So I assumed that there is somewhere a list of inactive tabs that you can access and activate them.

I have a plenty of tabs accumulated in my FF on Android, v119.1.1 (Build #2015984795), 2a75e15258+ GV: 119.0.2-20231108221453 AS: 119.0.

Within Tabs menu there is Share all tabs option. When clicked, the Save as PDF, Print, and typical android sharing options are presented.

Click on Save as PDF does nothing. Sharing to other apps works partially (text list is shared, but some parts of it are not kinks but a concatenated text of tabs titles combined together, not clickable, not https:// part).

The phone has lots of tabs, many of which are deactivated.

I want to backup them and review on bigger screen, but can't do that :)

Sharing to other devices connected via Mozilla account shares only subset of tabs, not sure about the logic, the most recent ones for sure + some deactivated but not all of them.
