I truly enjoy using Firefox for mobile and I am trying to make it by default browser but I have such a horrible time with the pitch to zoo. I am visually impaired so the pins to zoom is a must-have for me, there are so many sites that I use this and the page jumps and never stays in place especially on YouTube. I feel that I have adjusted all the settings recommended to me inside Firefox in addition to changing configurations like the AKA settings to false or to true which I always I don't want to have to go back to Chrome so is there anything you can recommend or do for me all help is truly appreciated thank yourecommended but nothing has seen to help. Even as I type this up I lost my place and pinch to zoom to find it and the page jumped to the top several times any help to resolve this would be so much appreciated thank you very much. One last thing I do keep everything in desktop mode because it's easier for me to see not sure if that matters.

I have a Samsung J5 with Android 9.

I have Firefox Beta version 139.0b10.

Has the issue of Firefox beta cutting off text between pages of the PDF file when printing to PDF files been resolved with the latest versions of Firefox beta?

I cant seem to operate the features and notice features like someone sending me links and messages it all needs to light up blue so I can break it down. Please make everything easier to use

My Samsung tablet has a "ghost touch" issue - as a solution, I activated a "long press" setting (0.2 seconds). Unfortunately, this clashes with Firefox settings: When I open a link or a page on Firefox, the browser registers only a small scrolling action and then stops registering other actions. I'm down to the point where Firefox is my default browser but I need to find Chrome from the depths of my setup if I need to open something in a pinch - or, in this case, using the syncing function to get the page from the tablet to my smartphone. Is there a way to deactivate custom long press settings on Firefox? Thank you.

Reverted to nightly due to missing the tabs and the extra steps to go to open windows is just a painful "hassle", so it's more an accessibility thing due to my chronic challenges in whole of my body. I would've stayed with plain Firefox but the tab function was removed from the "super secret" settings menu.. I also have a hit and miss on default functionality in FF nightly and I tried to find a feature request form so I don't have to fill up support requests but unfortunately I got directed here. I also like to note that in the "choose a category" list there's no feature request option or an option I can choose for default usage, app related, function related, name it. I choose Download and save because one thing has todo with the use of an external downloader (1DM+) and a feature that can be found in every browsed called "Copy text of link".

So FF Nightly constantly asking me which downloader to use. Why? It's clear I like to use an external downloader and it's counterproductive to answer that question with every download I want to do. These both questions seem to be feature request so I will write it in a way I know because past customers needed to do it that way.

Both feature request are mend for FireFox Nightly Android edition due to lack of tab support in the default FF edition loads of people usr.

Feature request 1: Select a default external downloader and fix this choice as default. What is the scenario and or use case? In FF and FF Nightly you can enable the use of 3rd party downloaders. After enabling this feature FF asks which downloader to use in the event downloadable content is selected within the browser. In this use case 1DM+ (bought through Google Playstore) is installed and used. This works as expected with a big but.

What do you need or want to have changed and why? Every time I select downloadable content FF Nightly asks me which downloader to use. In this use case it's 1DM+ and the FF internal downloader that get presented as options. I like to use my 3rd party downloader indefinitely, so not the FF internal downloader, for all my downloads thus making the repeating question, which downloader to use, counterproductive and unnecessary. The solution lies in "selection functionality" that holds the external downloader as default without questioning what downloader to use after confirming the default downloader.

Feature request 2: Copy link text. What is the scenario and/or the use case? FF Nightly hasn't got the option, while long pressing the text of the link, to simply copy plain text used for the link. If the linkaddress is www.abcde12345.abc and the link text is "press here to get to abcde12345" it's "press here to ....." I want to copy. Chromebased browsers have this option, even other browser give me this functionality so it seems to be common functionality that's missing in FF.

What do you need or want to have changed and why? I need this functionality to give the downloadable file it's logical name because the linktext involves its logical name and the filename of the downloadable file has a totally different naming convention. I paste the copied link text and for example change the filename that's been given to the file from "Bank_123565_XYZ_20251208_1115.pdf" into "Bankstatement AmaWallCost 20251208.pdf". Link texts are in most cases much more logical than generated filenames. FF let me do lots of things with links, images or any other components on the webpage. I can share it, download it, but simply copy the link text is missing. The solution is to add the functionality called "Copy link text" into the menu that pops up when I long press a component, say a link.

Unfortunately it's pretty hard for me to produce screenshots on Android due to accessibility challenges. Therefore I hope my text and requests are as clear as possible. Maybe there are possibilities but all of my questions and the use of tabs have accessibility reasons. It must be apparent why I choose for FF, extensions, privacy. I came back from Brave browser and hoped FF standard had an option to revert back to tabs on screen and not doing 3 or 4 extra steps to get to a certain webpage I've already opened. It really isn't accessibility friendly, that new webpage collection menu with tabs being in an extra list. Swiping from left to right or vice versa doesn't hurts as much as going to top right, look into a list moving up and down and do this every time I need to switch tabs. It's counterproductive as Ibcan arrange most used tabs next to each other to copy info or whatever. Normally it would take some time for me to feel the unnecessary movements but you can get quite busy while parting from a partner.

If there are possibilities, thanks a million for that. If not and these feature need to be assessed and hopefully implemented, thanks in advance.

Now, after the latest update (October 18 – 144.0 (Build #2016119303)), keyboard isn't "detected" by pages. So when KB is open, can't scroll to the bottom of the page. Or similarly, pages which have a message box at the bottom, KB overlays that box and everything below it. Quick test shows that only the New Tab screen and URL bar know about the keyboard status.

Tested on different browsers with different phones. Firefox for Android overlays keyboards on top of the webpage instead of resizing the viewport. This partially blocks the view of responsive webpages and most times blocks the view of text input boxes while typing.

Seid dem neuesten Update von Android schiebt sich das browserfenster nicht automatisch nach oben. Wenn die tastatur eingeblendet wird. Sprich der chat, also das was ich schreibe, verbirgt sich hinter dem tastaturfeld.

Vor dem Update musste ich das auf vielen websiten nach oben schieben. Um das zu lesen, was ich aktuell tippe. Nun kann ich das nicht mehr hochziehen. Und muss jedesmall die tastatur verbergen, lesen, korrigieren.. weiter tippen :/

Meine versuche, die bisher erfolglos geblieben sind: Firefox app neu installieren. Andere tastatur für android installieren. Neu starten vom smartphone.

Das Smartphone hat kaum apps installiert. Ist also ziemlich blank. In anderen browsern habe ich nicht das problem. Ausschließlich in firefox. Und das auf jeder Homepage mit einem chatfenster.

Firefox ist das aktuellste aus dem playstore. Also frisch. Samsung tastatur Samsung galaxy s 23 ultra. Neuestes betriebssystem (update novemer 2025) Wenige apps installiert, wie krankenkasse oder email.

New version 144.0 just arrived and a bad surprise for me. I'm often using the shortcuts in the start page, but these are limited now to the first 8 icons and can not be scrolled. To see the others I need to click on Show All. This seems to me as a very bad update Up through Firefox Android 143 Shortcuts on the new tab page could be quickly side-scrolled, but that appears to be removed in 144, which I find significantly more clumsy. Please restore the prior behavior, at least and I hope it will be corrected Thank you. and copy and paste is broken on android mobile (Sorry I had to blur sole of my pint shortcuts)

So now home screen icons are circles.

Can you please not? At least allow me to set my own style for home screen. I always prefer rectangular shapes on my device, they make everything more recognizable and easier for my autistic brain to navigate. I'm sick and tired of everything becoming soft and rounded nowadays.

One of my favorit websites recomends the Firefox setting "DNS over HTTPS" and I dont know how to make this 'cause I cannot find this setting, please can someone explain me a solution?

I Am Absolutely Loving The Firefox BETA Web Browser Thus Far & All The Different Settings & Security Features Available, But There Is Either A BUG, Or A Feature That Is Just Missing (for whatever reason) That I Feel Is A MUST HAVE Added Feature & NEEDS To Be Added, Implemented, & Supported Immediately For Users With Disabilities Such As Myself. I Am A U.S. Army Combat Veteran & Lost My Hands In Combat Due To An I.E.D (roadside bomb) & I Rely On Voice Texting To Be Able To Send Messages, Search, Stay Connected With My Community & Friends Online, & The Ability To Even Use A Smartphone Device With Relative Ease. The Gboard Functionality & Ease Of Use Along With The Instant Translations Of Languages , & Audio Translation Features Make My Phone Use Pretty Much As Good As Someone Who Has BOTH Of Their Hands Still. Need help.....i'm a senior, definitely not a computer wizard, getting very confused by all the computer speak that i'm sure is meant to help, but for me it's the opposite....so far i've spent 2.5 hours this afternoon to no avail, trying to understand the how to's being offered by Firefox.......my main concern is, will shutting down Pocket take my contacts....saved emails....bookmarks....saved passwords ie bill paying with it?..... what happens if i do nothing? .....or do i need to spend a day forwarding all emails ...bookmarks etc.....to Google Chrome?

I have been a long time user of Firefox & would prefer to stay with Firefox.....my needs have been pretty simple so far, i suppose that's why i haven't had problems. I have Firefox on my HP desktop running Windows professional......also on my Samsung Ultra 21 Android smart phone. A simple solution would be greatly appreciated. Something like ... don't worry, your computer won't blow up if you do nothing or it will only be a very small hiccup if you do nothing. Many thanks in advance for some guidance. Recently switched from a cheap Samsung phone (a15) that did not have this issue, but on my brand new Pixel 9 the address bar almost never responds immediately; I have to mash it for a solid 10+ seconds until it finally allows me to highlight text or type something. Is there a fix for this of some sort?

A cursory google search only pulled up a single reddit thread from about three months ago of someone describing a similar issue but no resolution was given, just a couple commenters chiming in to say they have also experienced this - all Pixel users.

She mentioned you were making updates to your site & to try again. I have tried several times now!! Please could you help me with this matter, as I'm finding the whole thing extremely frustrating.
