I am trying to disable the autofill in the google search bar from the mobile app, however I can’t find it. I have disabled every option under the browser settings in the app and have found no fix. For example, I had previously visited a site called “bengals wire” now every time I look up “bengals” and hit enter it takes me to that website instead of the google search. It’s just really annoying to have to always put a space after what I’m looking up. I would prefer not to have to use private browsing to circumvent this. I have included a picture as well. Thank you.

The efficiency of this site has gone down since the introduction of some of these ai features which sucks because firefox was literally the only good browser for years. Like why am I using the app and modding the feature off myself. I know the chatbot it toggleable but it just shouldnt be a feature at all. Thats what the search bar is for! Stop putting slop in my stuff please.

Hi there.

Safari on iOS has an option called “preload top hit”. It loads the most relevant website or search result in the background while you type so that there is no delay.

This feature is able to be turned off in Safari in iOS, but as far as I am aware, there is no way to do so in Firefox for iOS.

Please add the ability to disable this feature; it is interfering with my experience.
