Can't login to usaa.com banking site. keeps refreshing login page Using FF desktop latest ver. / win 7

I enter/submit my USAA username on the login page via a username dialog box. I then expect the password dialog box to open, but when I submit the username, FF flashes, i.e. the password dialog box displays for a split second and reverts right back to the username dialog box.

This happens at usaa.com with my user agent set to Windows/FF v 113. BUT if I set the user agent to Android/phone FF v 113, USAA detects the browser as Android/phone FF and it redirects to user agent to https://mobile.usaa.com where I AM able to enter username/password and login.

So what is wrong with FF? There are multiple threads of users unable to login to banking and other sites on the FF browser.

Hello. When I paste something inside firefox, then firefox suddenly shuts down and after that a window pops up, informing me that firefox has crashed and asking if I want to load the previous session... No changes have been made to my computer lately. Firefox has been updated to 113.0.1 but the problem has not been solved. Any suggestion?

After upgrading to v101, Firefox no longer recognizes my Self-signed wildcard SSL for *.local.dev.

Before you tell me not to use the .dev domain, I am aware that Google owns it and we're technically not supposed to do local development with the *.local.dev domain.

I have already tried the following: 1. Set network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist to FALSE, and everything was working perfectly fine before v101 2. imported the server.crt into Trusted Root Authorities in Windows, and also imported it in the Certificate manager in Firefox. 3. Tried other wildcard local domains like *.test.site, *.local.ddev and these don't work either.

I even tried following recent guides to issue a new certificate with openssl and SAN, and it still doesn't work.

so firefox I am logged out, you can tell where it say "save and sync - sign in". but even though I am not signed in, my passwords and addons are still showing up.

Hi, I completely uninstalled the firefox and re installed the latest version. The problem is that I have lost all the passwords and email addresses. how do i retrieve this information Some experts suggested to use recuva. I have tried . But how do I use recuva to retrieve the password. Please explain in detall. If it is saved in pc, please give me instructions how to retrieve. Could I opt for system restore to have the previous firefox with all the passwords. how do I select the profile in roaming folder, appdata roaming folder to copy the same to my newly installed firefox. Please give the real solution for this urgently ,as i have to login to finish web work

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. When I click on an article or any link in Outlook, I get an error message that says, Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk. I'm not an 'organization', just a user and obviously there's no help desk to contact, so I thought I'd reach out to see if someone might have a solution to this problem. I have already made sure that my default programs are set to Firefox for my browser and Outlook for my email and made sure all the defaults are selected. I have also run a full windows scan program which came up without any errors and I have run a registry scan that fixed every identified error. I'm still getting the same error message and the only way for me to open up an article or a link from an email is to 'copy hyperlink', open up a new tab in Firefox and select Paste and Go, which is driving me nuts and wasting a ton of time. I don't know what else to do at this point. I did find a document on the internet that has what it says is a method to resolve this exact error message problem, but the instructions are specific to Internet Explorer, not Firefox. I'm hesitant to find those same tools on Firefox (which is quite possible, though some of them are in different places on Firefox than they are on Internet Explorer). My concern comes with the fact that the final step will 'reset' every setting to it's default condition, so it seemed like a good idea to try to get some expert help before I perform such a drastic action. Also, I'm also making the assumption that if I did do a complete reset, I would be able to restore Firefox back via my most recent System Restore and it would bring back all my customizations, browers add-ons, personal settings, home pages history, cookies, privacy settings, etc. - but I'd like someone to weigh in on this. I am desperately trying to recover lost tabs from Firefox Browser after 2 crashes, freezing and forced shutdowns. I need the tabs for my work, and as usually happens, this has occurred at a time when I'm running to meet a critical deadline.

I've tried going to history, but the "recently closed tabs" option was greyed out:-( I've tried searching for other solutions, but cannot fine any that fit my situation. I'm not an IT expert - I know my way around what I need to use (i.e. professional worker), so clear & simple explanation would be much appreciated.

Can I recover the lost tabs from backed up data or a previous system image? My system is Windows 7, and I'm currently running Firefox version 115.0.2. All suggestions welcome!

Hello, I would like to know how to remove 'other bookmarks' folder from the right side of bookmark toolbar that showed up suddenly on my browser, it's right after the arrows to show more bookmarks. I can't seem to find a way to delete this.

Various website that contain dynamic content are not being rendered by Firefox to display that content. This is happening with websites that provide transportation information and ticketing, including Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines . It is also happening with a genealogical website, FamilyTreeDNA, on pages that should be displaying family tree information. Illustrations of two pages are attached. I have been able to access the information by using Opera on this same computer and operating system, and by using the same version of Firefox installed on a different computer with different operating system. I am not sufficiently proficient with website development to know or understand what type of dynamic content is being generated by these websites, or how Firefox interprets the content. My suspicion is that some Firefox setting has been enabled or disabled, but I do not know which one it would be.

Hi. Is there a way to customize the order of Firefox headers and footers on printed pages (including print-to-pdf)?

I prefer the header to be url only, in the center. While the footer has page on left; title in the center, and date on the right.

This used to be easy to accomplish with print options in older versions, then -- as the print dialog changed (and actually improved a lot in most *other* ways) I had to turn to about:config modifications like those described in the 1/27/21 reply here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323433. But now I can't seem to find any way to have any control over print headers besides "on" and "off."

One problem I find with having both page title and url on top is that these can be long, causing one or both to be truncated.

I'm using Firefox 115.3esr.

since today firefox wont load any websites out of troubleshoot mode. not even settings/ about:config. if i open a page in a new tab it just stays blank and nothing is happening.

in troubleshoot mode i turned off hardware acceleration - nothing changed after restart. i updated the runtime file "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022", which is suggested in different help-posts, i deactivated all addons, i created a new profile and also tried an imported one from eralier today - so far nothing has worked.

i also reinstalled firefox with version 99/ version 101 two times, after i cleared %APPDATA%-data.

im also just using windows defender as antivir.

please elp, i'm out of ideas.

Hi, this site when trying to login keeps looping, it has only happened recently and I've cleared cookies and disabled all the addons for it, the site works, but when trying to login it loops https://www.nexusmods.com and says in the loop-

users.nexusmods.com

Checking if the site connection is secure users.nexusmods.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.

even tried in private browsing, cannot use any other web browser. Please help thanks.

Firefox crashes whenever I paste something in search bar. Even if its one word only. It has been like 3 months now and no help. It even crashes in troubleshooting mode. I have reinstalled and refreshed, but it helped only for a day.

I have been using Firefox and GoToMeeting for years, suddenly this month (July 2023) I get the following message when I try to open a GoToMeeting session”

“Sorry, this browser isn’t supported. Join in your browser by opening the link below in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.”

I don’t want to use either of those browsers.

What can I do to keep both Firefox and GoToMeeting?

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. Hi, when I log into my bank I give my account number and then a password. I have told firefox not to remember my password but it is remembering the bank account number which automatically pops up when I am on the banks log in page. How do I stop this? Also when I signed up for this firefox help it asked for an email address and all my email addresses poped up for me to chose from. I didn't like this either. Appreciate any help. If these features can't be turned off whats the last version I can use that won't do this? cheers Neil

Since Firefox for Windows upgraded to 105 the Wordle web site fails to work - it displays the grid at the bottom of the window with no scroll possibility & it displays that even when a correctly working browser displays my statistics.

The website works correctly on other browser (Chrome & Edge), on Firefox for Android and on Firefox for Windows 104 (luckily I had a machine which hadn't been on for a few weeks and therefore was no up to date).

Lost power. Computer shut down. Reopened Firefox and no passwords. Looked in profile and there are 4 files logins.json.corrupt (149 kb) all created today at same time and 1 file logins.json (2 kb). I ASSUME my passwords are in the 149KB json file? If I delete logins.json (2kb) and rename one of the 149KB to logins.json, when I reopen firefox, it just does it again: renames logins.json to logins.json.corrupt (149kb) and creates a new logins.json (2kb). Is there anyway to recover these passwords? Windows 7 Latest version of firefox

Hi there , I am interested to know if Mozilla support group is aware of the problem Microsoft update KB4474419 causes? I am running widows 7 sp1. I installed the update as you mentioned in your Firefox 100 release notes. After reboot , I got a beep and a black screen - win 7 won't start. I had to find a way to delete the update so I could boot my system back. I asked few of my colleagues that use the same OS and they experienced the exact same problem. Surfing the web , makes it quite clear - this update is faulty and not compatible with win 7 as Microsoft claims. I would like to get a straight answer - can I update my FF99 to FF100 , without the notorious KB4474419 , or , as of FF100 , win7 sp1 is no longer applicable to Firefox ? Thanks. look4
