I’m reaching out because I’ve been experiencing persistent loading delays on Firefox across all websites. Pages eventually load, but it consistently takes longer than it should or don't load at all, can't even log in on some sites such as Twitch. At first, I thought the issue was only on YouTube, but I’ve confirmed it affects all websites.

I’ve already gone through extensive troubleshooting steps, including: Clearing cookies and cache Changing DNS providers (tried both Cloudflare and Google DNS) Using the Firefox Refresh option Fully reinstalling Firefox Scanning my system for malware (none detected) Verifying that no extensions or add-ons are installed Confirming my internet connection and speed are stable Testing the same sites in Chrome, where everything loads smoothly Despite all of this, the problem persists only in Firefox. I’d like to give some feedback regarding the built-in PDF editor. I really enjoy this feature and use it often because it’s convenient and easy to work with. However, there’s an issue that has forced me to stop using it for now.

Whenever I add text to a PDF using Firefox’s editor, everything looks fine on my computer. But once I upload the edited PDF to another platform such as Google Drive, the text I typed disappears and turns into empty boxes. This means the annotations or filled-in fields are no longer readable on other devices or cloud services.

At the moment, the edited PDF can only be viewed properly on my own computer, and this limitation makes it difficult to share documents or submit forms. I sincerely hope this compatibility issue can be improved, because I really do love Firefox’s PDF editing feature and would like to continue using it.

I can't get to OpelGT.com. It is a car site that I moderate and visit frequently. I just get "waiting" or other messages if I use the link on the Firefox start screen. I can get to all other websites I normally visit with no problems(CNN, various Facebook groups and pages, Amazon, etc.). This problem started around the last few days of November. I CAN get to OpelGT.com using Microsoft Edge with no troubles.

Firefox prevents going into hibernate mode. It only appears to blank screen until mouse is moved or lid moved. This happened on 3 year old dell and now on new lenovo. I've gotten around it by going into task manager and killing firefox before hibernating. This doesn't happen on a newly opened window. I've noticed that as you use it, in the task manager, (not sure of correct term) the amounts of firefox tasks/threads? increases but does not decrease when tabs are closed. Eventually hibernate stops until I kill the firefox program. I thought this might go away with new lenovo with twice the ram, but happens at same rate. If I forget to kill firefox, I end up with a dead battery. This doesn't happen with edge or other browsers I've tried.

I have returned to firefox after getting a new laptop, but I can only create 8 shortcuts on the home page. Initially I could only create 5, but 3 more opportunities to 'add a shortcut' randomly appeared. I have selected to have 4 rows of shortcuts and this setting remains, but still I cannot add any new shortcuts. How can I add more shortcuts please?

I just purchase a new computer. Windows 11. When I first set it up I tried to log into Yahoo.com mail on 4 different browsers. None of them worked. Either had the error message of "1. Disable Ad Blockers 2. Enable Java Script". or "something went wrong". I disabled the ad/pop up blockers but cannot find settings for Java. I am not having trouble on any other device, nor with any other website.

I restored the computer to factory specs since I had hardly anything on it. That did not work either.

when i sign on to my computer, frequently a prompt will appear that says i have to close the old firefox. sometimes i have to close it 5 or more times before i finally get connected to the internet. what can i do? im 83 and not tech savvy. also, when i sign on-the site crashes a lot and i should restart firefox and send a report in.

i bought a GMKtec K12 Mini PC AMD Ryzen7 H 255 (Upgraded 8745HS) Oculink Support DDR5 and youtube videos at 4k 60 hz stutter big time when i log in to my youtube acount.i am a premium user.all driver are up to date.my intel laptops using firefox browser work perfect no frame drop whatsoever.i have bought 2 of this mini pc and bouth behaving same on firefox(i tried on all firefox browsers: F.NIGHTLY,FOR DEVELOPERS,ESR) I also have an laptop with AMD cpu and behave same: stutters on 4k 60hz. Recently i tried FLORP browser and youtube 4k 60hz works perfect until i log in to my youtube acount and then it starts stuttering and loosing frames big time so bad i even cannot watch the video.ive tried on trubleshoot mode ,started from scrtach with same results

When opening firefox, why do I have to wait for it to update?

I am asking it to open, not to update. You can do it on closing, not on opening. Am I opening the browser for you to update, or for me to navigate?

For whatever reason every time 'Firefox' browser goes down my email shuts down also. This did not happen prior to trashcan Win!!(recently installed). It's a pain in the ass having to reactivate 'Firefox' then contact my email server to reactivate my email service. Any assist is appreciated. TangoYankee in advance.

One day there are no shortcuts on my firefox homepage, none show up when I open a new tab. In my settings, it shows I have set to allow 3 rows of shortcuts, but there are none! This is so totally inconvenient and I have spent hours trying to sort it out, so I might be bailing on Firefox as my default browser.

Some google search suggestions mention "clicking on the plus sign" to add a shortcut. THat opens a new tab but does not relate to shortcuts.

This is a snip from my Chrome homepage, with shortcuts. I used to have 3 rows in Firefox. Now there are none, and there is no plus sign to add one.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm recovering an older Firefox Sync Account. I can login on https://accounts.firefox.com. My password is valid. I cannot login within Firefox (activating Sync). It simply does not continue - After entering the E-Mail-Address and clicking the Button "Sign up or sign in". The browser network debug show no (obvious) communication error.

Please advise.

I want to delete/remove subject folder from my Windows 11 desktop. I did not create this folder; it suddenly appeared after I reinstalled the Firefox browser. These are the steps I am using in the deletion process: I right click on the folder and click on the delete icon. At the top of the window it says "Folder Access Denied." (Image 1) Below that it says, "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder." If I click on the "Continue" button, then the error message changes to "You require permission from OWNER/(me) ... to make changes to this folder." (Image 3) The permissions for this folder listed in the "Security" tab lists three groups: 1. "SYSTEM," 2. "F... S... (...@ Outlook.com)" and 3. "Administrators (Owners/Administrators)." All the foregoing have full control and modify control for this folder. The "More details" seen in Images 1 and 3 is grayed out so I cannot get any additional information. How can I delete this unnecessary and data hogging folder? Thank you all very much in advance to all that chose to respond.
