my pc had friend so when i got a new one i lost all of my firefox data, how can i get all of it back so i was forced to start all over, i lost all my, bookmarks, tabs, history and saved passwords

After upgrading to Firefox 99, Sharepoint will no longer load. The site can be loaded in all other browsers. After cache and cookies are cleared the page(s) work properly for a few clicks, but if you click the back arrow it goes back to the 3 Sharepoint dots icon and never loads the page.

Hi, how are you? I was just wondering if Firefox offers the auto translation option when it gets to a webpage that it's not in English. Chrome offers. A translation of the page as always or Just decline. Would you tell me if Firefox offers that function or similar option? Thank you.

I have been a user of a particular website for awhile now. it is thingiverse.com . This website continually tells me that I need to disable my pop-up blocker in order to download a file from their website. 1. I DO want to download from their site. 2. I have not got the pop up blocker enabled on firefox 3. I do not have another pop up blocker enabled on my computer. 4. If I use a Microsoft Edge to get on the web, I can download from that website. 5. I have tried to actually enable pop up blockers on firefox and then say the pop ups are fine on thingiverse.com and that doesnt work either

6. I don't want to use a different browser to go on that website but can't figure out what to do.

Please offer any kind of insight you may have.

Any way to cast to chromecast with firefox?

It's annoying that I have to use Chrome or Edge to cast youtube to my TV.

Or use my phone. But it's charging atm. So very annoying my favorite browser can't do this simple thing. But all the other browsers can.

When I opened my Browser this morning (15 March 2023), I saw a message that I could edit PDF documents directly with Mozilla. There was a suggestion (button, I think) to try it. I did. There was a sample letter. On the letter in light gray were comments like "Use the [I-bar} to write here" and "Use the [paint brush] to...." I have no idea where these icons are. Their pictures on the screen where the suggestions are given are not interactive.

Are such searches controlled via Firefox? If so, do I need to change a Firefox setting to overcome the problem?

Hi. How do I give permission to Firefox to open a webpage? There seems to be a firewall issue or something? Please provide the exact steps to allow a URL to be opened with my permission. Trying to use ProctorU with Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 11 Home, and I am getting the following message : "Monitor Count : You may only use 1 monitor during your exam. Your monitor count could not be found". I searched for possible fixes, and someone mentioned removing fingerprinters, and possibly also remove cookies and tracking content from Firefox enforcement. I removed all 3 and that did not help. I also tried clearing cookies and site data and also cached web content, this did not help. Is there some other setting in Firefox that might be preventing the detection of the monitor count? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

SINCE THE LAST UPDATE, THE FIREFOX SCREEN DOES NOT FIT MY SYSTEM WIDE DISPLAY SETTING(125%). I am up to date on updates for Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge displays my pages normally. This display enlargement started immediately after the Mozilla browser update of 103.0 64bit!!

 I was having problems with one of my passwords not updating correctly in firefox 105.0.1   I exported all of the passwords into a csv file and then followed the steps outlined here in the forum to turn on import passwords from a file.  Then while trying to fix the password problem I removed all passwords/ids.  I clicked on the import from a file, selected the file I exported to but nothing happens.. No passwords, no id's. I thought maybe I wouldn't see it in the about:logins screen, so  I tested out three different sites from the export file and no luck on anything.  I was expecting a box to pop up telling me the import was successful or if I was sure I wanted to import all of these passwords but nothing, so even though I get the drop down to import I can't.  Has anyone experienced this problem before or any solutions.

Cannot get bookmarks to show on left side. They were there when I set up this new computer, then disappeared. Says go to toolbar at bottom of screen, there is no toolbar at the bottom of the screen. There is a file containing all the bookmarks that were transferred. Been at this for hours.

I'm using Firefox 104.0.2 (64 bit) under Windows 11.

Under Settings I have selected Startup Open Previous Windows and Tabs.

I normally have more than a dozen tabs.

For the past few days, when I start Firefox my previous session is not restored and I just get the single Firefox tab.

When I got to History there is no longer a Restore Previous Session option.

How do I get it back?

Which extensions should not be in private windows? I understand that Private Windows has info that I want protected therefore, what extension should not be allowed in private windows?
