I'm getting announcements of a virus threat that purports to come from Mozilla Firefox. Usually one or all three of the attached small windows that say: 1. "Viruses Found. Is this legit? I suspect these are a virus of some sort. Either way, how do I deal with this?

For about one week now I get some strange, reappearing sites mentioned in my chronic – even though I have never opened these addresses in tabs myself. I tried to search the internet for „syscsrv“ as a potential thread and I have found some entries in forums of people who seem to have the same issue. However, in the forums there were no solutions for the issue mentioned. Are these two addresses potentially dangerous/ malicious or are these potentially firefox bugs?

I switched to firefox because I was annoyed at the integration of ai into my previous browser. If the new CEO of firefox fulfills his plans to add more ai into firefox, I will switch browsers again. The integration of ai is completely unnecessary, the vast majority of users will not use the features at all or will leave firefox as I plan to. Firefox has always stood apart by protecting the data privacy of those who use it and integrating ai will ruin that.

I clicked on a link in a forum site - pentaxforums.com - that should have pulled up image from a private web site but I think the url has been hijacked, the image didn't appear and instead the browser started pinging alerts. I have run avast anti virus and malwarebytes, these found suspicous malware (trojan, key clone) and rebooted, but these alerts still keep appearing, however I am wondering of the browser alert system itself has been compromised. See screenshots. if I click on one it seems to be trying to go to a suspicious url. any advice appreciated Marcus Brown

i have a big problem with settings of privacy and security. the problem is i cant edit this option ( Allow Firefox to automatically trust third-party root certificates you install ) and its greyed out . i made everything ( refresh - troubleshoot - uninstall ) and with the first click on singing my account on Firefox and add my restore my add-ons after setting up windows this option become unavailable (greyed out) and cant edit it. i need a solution without going to set up a new windows because its so tiring to set up a new windows to edit this option. please give me a solution its emergency. thanks a lot.

I'm suddenly getting repeated/multiple Mozilla Firefox "Browser Alerts", "System Warnings," and "McAfee Critical Virus Alerts" that are wrong and dysfunctional. They pop up every few seconds. They contain "Remove virus now" and "quick scan" buttons, but these only take me to a bright red screen that says:
"Deceptive site ahead Firefox blocked this page because it may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing personal information like passwords or credit cards."
These come even though I haven't tried to access any "deceptive sites." I have to x all of them out to clear my screen.
There's obviously a defect in your warning system. How do I stop this?

I started getting a different login screen for yahoo and so I was on the lookout for the https:// that would ensure I'm at a real website. I noticed that I don't get any https:// on anything in my FF esr 140. Even if I enter it with the address, it disappears as soon as I click to open the website. I tried out Edge and the https:// is there. Is there some reason this is being removed in FF, as it is something reassuring and doesn't take up much space.

Was prompted to download a program to Firefox before I paid my phone bill. I did not recognize the web address or name that was shown, and the account number from which recent payment was deducted did match any accounts I hold or held in the past. I cancelled the action immediately, without downloading, but am still concerned. I found nothing on the internet about this, just got a summation chat AI response that stated the phone company had no download/extension for Firefox. Has anyone had any experience like this or could someone shed some light on this?
