I have an issue where Confluence stops working after a while.

The issues are as follows:

• Opening a link will work and show the page.
• After about 5 seconds, the page will turn black.
• Using the search bar does not work, no results show.
• Trying to expand items in the sidebar does not work.
• Clicking on a link in the sidebar does work, but it too will turn black after the same 5 second delay.
• You can't edit pages.

I have found two ways to temporarily fix the issue.

• Clear the cookies for Atlassian.net.
• Go into the inspector, switch to the Network tab, tick "Disable Cache" and reload the page.

Unfortunately, this only fixes it for a week or two until it comes back.

This is not specific to any one Confluence instance. Once one stops loading, all (that we have tried) stop loading.

In Firefox, the animation exhibits performance issues like stuttering, particularly in elements that rely on animateTransform and animate for movement or opacity transitions. This issue is not present in Chrome, where the animations run smoothly without any noticeable lag.

Expected Behavior: The animation should render smoothly on both Chrome and Firefox without any stuttering or lag, providing a seamless experience for users.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the provided SVG code in Firefox.

Observe the animation, particularly the elements with animate and animateTransform attributes.

Notice the stuttering or lag compared to the smooth rendering in Chrome.

I use default browser and suddenly Firefox can't load website Shopee Try chrome and it load shopee normal. Have try turn off all extension for shopee site. Hope someone can help

First noticed when listening to music on YouTube while playing a game: After a few songs, video would stop, shortly followed by audio (Every few minutes it might play less than a second of audio). Somewhere along the line any interaction with YT itself or even the tab stop working. All other tabs work fine.

Firefox doesn't ever crash, and I can't see anything weird when using a process viewer (I'm not too familiar with Linux diagnostic tools).

So far I've tried:

• Updating Firefox
• Disabling Extensions
• Clearing cache
• Uninstall Firefox
• Multiple Proton games through Steam
• Game running through Wine
• Updated OS

I've tested with Chrome, which had no issues.

I don't recall messing with anything at the time (I did change some settings in firefox, but I think that was a few days before the issue started).

Our main site http://wlo418.tripod.com/worldlibertarianorder/ and the many others with the same domain, when clicked upon, get a Bad Gateway error page in Firefox, but not with any other browsers. Do you have a server problem? Please fix this at your earliest convenience. We are not interested in comments by anyone's "community". Roy C Peterson

Hello. This is very strange and just started happening today, December 16, 2025. In Firefox, the Outlook web version, using my company email, when I reply to an email in my inbox two drafts are created. This doesn't happen when I do the same action (reply to an email) using either Chrome or Safari. To be clear, I love Firefox and have been using it for many years. I STRONGLY favor it over the other two. Help! This is just annoying. My draft folder is full of useless drafts. David

The system asks me to sign in using my passkey or to try another way. The screen is frozen - can't enter passkey, can't choose another way. The only way out is to close firefox. I have no problem signing in with a different browser (Safari).

On two different sites that use fairly high security (for example, www.experian.com), I have been unable to find a logout option when I was ready to end the session. It's hard to believe that the sites don't have a logout. I have not tried other browsers with these sites, so I don't know if this problem is unique to Firefox. Is there a workaround for this situation? Am I missing something? Merely closing the browser does not end the session. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A website that I have used for years to track my wine cellar invenory has ceased functioning for me. The Web Designer tells me that the problem is a network issue and not his problem. I get no solutions from my ISP.

When I attempt to load the page and look at the Console I get the following error message in response to several GET requests:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://cdn.ct-static.com/dist/js/ct.min.1530c2da96.js.

A web search tells me that this policy is a browser safety net. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

I have an old Laptop which works perfectly for what I need, and I use Firefox for my Browser.

I had to shutdown my Laptop and everything seemed Ok on reboot. However, I can no longer access my Gmail account as I apparently "need Chrome" to get access...?

Do I? If so - how do I get it installed on my system?

When I access a specific website the .css files hosted at http://cdn.ct-static.com/ don't load. The Network Tool console indicates that they time out. I have been told this is usually a network setup issue however if I use the MS edge browser the site loads. How do I troubleshoot this?

I have used Directv for 30 years. My password has suddenly become unusable. I can say I forgot the password and change it and it is accepted, but when I try to sign on, it still says something went wrong. I changed it a total of 2 additional times with the same results. Then I gave up and went over to Edge where it worked fine. Has anyone else had a problem line this.

Every time I try to upload a file to the Microsoft Copilot 365 I keep getting the "Error Occurred Please Try Again" But when I switch to Chrome. I can upload the same files with no problem. Does anyone know why I get the "Error" with Firefox?

  For a couple decades now, my favorite browser has been Firefox.

I've manually enabled my Web Cam and Mic in the browser settings to work with Facebook. It seems like Firefox still DOES NOT SUPPORT Facebook 's Video and Voice functionality. Anyone know, if there's a possible fix for this? Is Firefox Software Development Team working to correct this issue and is there a possible projected date on this resolution ?? Please don't hesitate to help me with this technical problem...

New sites online (foxnews.com, newsmax.com and others) will not load comments. Had to remove shield and try several things. Still a problem. Everything before 146.0 worked. I'm sorry I did the upgrade as all this takes too much time.

When I try to sign in to a particular site FireFox gives me this warning:

"Your username or password is incorrect.

You can try again or skip the password by scanning the QR code on this page."

However, the user name and password ARE correct and I can log into the site with that username and password on other browsers like Safari.

Is there any way to fix this?
