Hi, I'd love some help with this issue please. I have just bought a new Surface laptop and enabled sync from my desktop. But many of the bookmarks and none of the bookmark folders came across. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but with the same result. I have an old Surface laptop that the new one is replacing and the syncing has worked perfectly on that. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers, Graham

I installed a new Windows 10, then I installed the latest version of Mozilla Firefox v133 and there's no sync option in this version 🤔 What is the problem?

I want to recover my bookmarks and passwords

I recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and expected Firefox to sync and restore my saved passwords, as I had enabled Firefox Sync before reinstalling. However, after syncing my account, my passwords did not appear, and I am unable to access them.

I have already tried the following steps:

   Checked the sync status of my Firefox account.
   Ensured that I am signed into the correct Firefox account on my browser.
   Searched for any relevant troubleshooting steps but haven't been able to resolve the issue.

Could you please assist me in restoring my saved passwords or provide any guidance on how I can retrieve them?

Dzień dobry, po zmianie urzadzenia (PC) pomimo tego ze na starym urzadzeniu zawsze byłem zalogowany do Firefoxa (synchronizacja byla automatyczna), to na nowym urządzeniu po zalogowaniu nie mam dostepu do wczesniej zapisanch zakladek oraz haseł. Prosze o pomoc, pozdrawim D.

Hello, I reinstalled win 10 on my pc and Wien i logged back into my account sync is working but no passwords, adds, bookmarks are loaded, so I have the most important question, what am I supposed to do? Thanks

I recently reset my laptop, when I logged into my mozilla account on my firefox, it is hasn't synced my passwords, hisotry, bookmarks and extensions. The sync is on, I've eevn tried to manually initiate sync. Did not work.

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

So I asked a question already about my browser, not syncing to my laptop properly or at least I don't think it is. It's the bookmarks on the homepage I have the rows of bookmarks where I just double click and go to my website that I want. Well, when I got my laptop, I downloaded Firefox and I synced everything to my laptop and it worked great including all my bookmarks in the rows. but now it just won't sync the bookmarks I have in the ROWS i have on the home page I would hate to delete the browser and then reinstall just have all my bookmarks in the rows that I want. I waited a whole day and a half to see if it would sync and it would not. Why is this the only part not syncing all my other bookmarks sync up including my passwords I also checked the settings in Firefox and everything I want has the box check marked. Also, I don't know how to reply back to anybody who helps me. The examples of the picture these are the types of bookmarks I'm talking about if I change it on my desktop, it will not change on my laptop.

i recently had to get a new computer and had set up sync for everything however when i logged in to my new device none of my synced data was saved is there any way to get this data back i have passwords that i need that firefox forced me to use a secure generated and saved ones that i dont know

Hi guys, I have been using Firefox for a long time and most of the time, I use local backup, I have saved my bookmarks on my extended hard drive but about a year ago, I found out that Firefox has a "sync" feature and it's really great. I turned on the auto-sync of bookmarks and it work but this time, I reset Windows and I was really sure that I was syncing and I checked, I opened the Profile menu, clicked "Sync Now" and waited until the rolling logo stopped. After I reinstalled windows and reinstalled firefox, logged in but I don't see the backup bookmarks like before, I tried searching but couldn't find anything, just like a new firefox and new profile. Is there a way to find the lasted bookmarks I have synced? I often have thousands of tabs open so I have used this feature before but this is the first time Firefox hasn't shown my synced bookmarks.

Hi, This is not a first time when I save a password on my mobile and don't get it on my laptop or vice versa. I do force sync but it does not work. It says OK but does nothing. Any advise on how it can be fixed?

I follow the instructions on how to Sync and save data on my mobile, but there is no option in the options as described. I am logged in on both the phone and desktop.

I recently refreshed Firefox. When I re-opened the program, I was logged out. I successfully logged back in, but despite saying I'm "synced", none of my settings (themes, passwords, bookmarks, etc.) are showing up, even after waiting 30 minutes. Typically sync has taken a few seconds for me. FYI, this is on my work computer and I don't have administrator access, so I would prefer a solution (if possible) that does not require an uninstallation or installation (which I cannot do without contacting an administrator). Recently, I realized I haven't been logged into Firefox for the greater part of a year, and did so recently. I did so to sync my passwords with the cloud to restore in case something bad were to happen. Lo and behold, 2 days before doing this, my logins file corrupted. Attempting to open the .json in Firefox displays "unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data". This file is pretty sizeable at 105 KB, so the info is on there, but I clearly cannot access it. I've also tried simply deleting the .corrupt extension and restarting Firefox, but it just instantly re-corrupts. Is there anyway to get my data back? Any advice is appreciated.

i had to restore windows 10 (some things weren't working at all after some maintenance) i performed the restore with the option to keep the files i then installed firefox logged into my google account via gmail page then in firefox itself to restore bookmarks and everything else (same google account)(i had to reset the password via google account) now i dont get all the things saved/synced: no bookmarks, no passwords, extensions, etc. please help

My passwords are saved to my android phone, and home PC but I am trying to get them into my work PC and they will not show up. I had a master password turned on briefly but it was not functioning how I wanted it (enter the master password before it would put any of the other passwords in instead of once on start up). Now I turned the master password off, sync is turned on for both the android browser and the work pc, the phone has the passwords but the pc does not.
