Saying "you can turn off the AI" is NOT enough, Mozilla. Nothing is ever "turned off" unless it's completely removed. This is Microsoft's playbook BS; "but you can turn it off", but for some reason the system is always using a metric ton of memory, lagging and whatnot. You, of all companies, should know this and be better than that. Nothing good is ever force-installed and impossible to remove. Unless you all make it installed completely separately so people like me, who are a significant part, if not most of your user base, can not install it, nothing short of a full renunciation of the CEO will suffice to make we trust you again.

You installed without my permission the Microsoft web app. That is spyware that has cost you this user. I will uninstall Firefox, tell everyone I know what you 'security-minded' liars are really doing to us. I belong to a gaming club with hundreds of members and by tonight they will all know not to trust Firefox. You really have some nerve teaming up with that nasty organization. I cannot get into my Paypal account because Mozilla Firefox is asking me to set up a passkey. I press Continue and it tells me to enter a PIN. I don't have a PIN set up that I know of. If I try one, it is wrong and says I have tried too many times. When I go to the Settings where I should set something up with Window Hello, it says it is not available. I just want to log into my Paypal account like I used to. How can I bypass all this stuff?

You started pushing a widget a while back that shows the days I've been on Yahoo, concurrent and otherwise. This thing is annoying and I want it gone. I don't care how much I've used Yahoo on my devices and You already know via tracking cookies.

I CANNOT log into my Facebook account since Firefox launched your VPN. I didn't sign UP for the VPN but I'm troubleshooting and the VPN launch happened at the same time I was denied access to Facebook. Can you FIX this problem????? It is infuriating!!!! I can SEE the page and friends can SEE the page which means it hasn't be LOCKED or deleted. I just can't access my own page - not with my phone # or email. I have been working on this since SUNDAY and I am the Press/Media liaison for a number of organizations. This SNAFU is going to get me fired if I can't get back on social media! There's GOT to be someone in your organization who can connect me with an actual human being to FIX THIS!!! PLEASE

I installed Firefox Developer Edition and I am having the following issues, whenever I go to Indeed and I go to a job posting the browser opens up additional tabs without my permission or me doing so. Also the browser does the same in Canvas when I go to my course the browser automatically opens up new tabs without my permission and also me doing so. The Firefox Developer Edition browser update is Firefox Developer Edition is up to date 152.0b7 (64 bit). The following extensions are installed AdBlocker Ultimate, FoxyProxy Basic, Ghostery AdBlocker For Privacy, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Privacy Badger, and UBlock Origin. This behavior got super annoying and I don't know how to fix it. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated. My operating system is Windows 11.

I have two files with the given content:

one.pdf .. the book jane eyre two.pdf .. the book adam bede

I go to https://duck.ai/chat and press the paperclip icon to upload a file. I upload one.pdf. I ask the AI to analyse it. It says it's jane eyre. This is correct.

On my disk, I rename one.pdf to one.old.pdf and rename two.pdf to one.pdf. I then ask the AI to reanalyse the file. It says its adam bede, which one.pdf now is, so that's correct too.

Under my understanding, if I upload something using HTML, it's uploaded. What I'm seeing above is the AI dynamically reaching into my hard drive and reading the current file. Note: I never uploaded a file containing adam bede, nor did I consent for it to be read by the AI.

What is going on there?

I do not care it it’s optional. I do not care if there is a “kill switch”. Firefox should not be wasting it’s time on these features in the first place, as it has been nothing but an active detriment to the user experience on every platform on which it has been implemented. Nobody asked for this. Nobody wants this. I installed Firefox because I saw that it was different from other browsers, mainly in the way that it was not following the latest tech fads straight off a cliff. If the new leadership decides to change that, then I see no reason to stick around.
