As of a few days ago (mid-October 2025), when I'm on an eBay listing page, nothing I click on works. I can navigate to my watchlist, selling pages, etc, so it seems like it's just the listing pages. When I'm on a listing page, if I click on the heart to "watch" an item, nothing happens. If I click on thumbnails in the photos to try and view other images than the main one, nothing happens. The buttons on the right for "Add to Cart", "Buy it Now", etc also do not function. I think it's been about 3 or 4 days since this problem started. I opened a listing page in Chrome and it worked as usual, all the buttons seemed functional.

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

Unsure if this is correct category... Years ago when Firefox was in it's infancy - Firefox settings used to allow much more power/control over cookies & how you deleted them. You could actually display & select individually ones you wanted to delete. Now Firefox has it's own Interface 'utility' and only allows you to delete 'groups' of cookies based on their App name. I was looking for the location / name of the dataset which is used to store cookies - so I could delete them more finely. Or is this in some sort of special format which is ONLY accessible thru Settings. I see MANY Cookie add-ons, mostly dealing with auto-responding to cookie prompts. Actually as of this writing - I am trying one of these.

I’m experiencing an issue where I cannot use ChatGPT-5 in Firefox. When I log in and try to select or use GPT-5, nothing loads or functions properly. Other models like GPT-3.5 work normally, but GPT-5 does not respond.

I’ve already tried refreshing the page, clearing cache and cookies, and even disabling extensions — but the problem persists. Could this be a compatibility issue with Firefox? Any advice or support would be appreciated.

Firefox indicated a new version was available and I installed it. After restarting the app, links will not connect and I receive this message.: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help!

Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

But nothing helps. I cannot reach most of the sites where I need to work.

For the last few months I've been getting slow responses with online applications. When I switch to chrome, it all runs at a normal pace. Specifically with " The Customer Factor"

A website I want to get on is not letting me sign in. It says the cookies are redirected in an improper way. Trying to figure out how to change cookie settings for a particular site.

Here is something I have never ran into, for some reason suddenly today, I am only able to load about half the websites I try to load. A blank page loads that says "Hmm we're having trouble finding that site". But the tab says "Server not found". Again it's only some pages that won't load.

It does not matter if I click the bookmark, or type in the address,it's always the same pages every time. I tried 19 sites, (10 bookmarks, and 9 typed), plus typing in some of the bookmarks also.

If I change over to Chrome, or any other browser those pages will load. If I use Firefox Mobile, those pages load. Something has gotten messed up in my PC settings, or something.

I have tried clearing the cache, the history, and the cookies, no luck. I restarted into safe mode, and had the same problem.

It's been forever since I had any problems with FIrefox, and must admit I have forgotten most of the troubleshooting tips, that I used to know. But I did remember those, unfortunately none of those are the problem.

What else can I try? Thanks in advance.

BTW: I am submitting this on my phone because this is one site that won't load. If it did I would, I would click the "Share Data" button.

When I opened Firefox today, ALL of my bookmarks were gone. There was a message saying that they couldn't be accessed, and that sometimes securiity software incompatibility is the culprit. I'm also now unable to create any new bookmarks. I have no idea what may have updated, and don't know whether to blame you, Windows/MS, Xfinity, or the McAfee prompt which keeps trying to get me to finish installing something I never intended to install in the first place, but can't get rid of. How do I get browser bookmarks back?????
