I have tried to connect my notebook firefox to my laptop and I can't. It constantly demands I input a verification code. Is there something I am neglecting or a setting that needs changing. If I want my notebook firefox I have to fire up my old notebook which is on its last legs. Firefox is also on my phone.

Help.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

After updating Firefox to version 92.0 (64bit) I cannot delete bookmark and trying many solving methods found in google but nothing works. Finally I reset Firefox and I can delete bookmarks again BUT another problem occurs which is "I can't save bookmarks to the folder I want, they all go to "recent bookmarks"". I am unable to solve the problem. Please help. (Using Windows 10 64 bit 21H1)

I've just set up a new laptop and tried to sync all my bookmarks' (rather complex) sub-folder structure to the new machine, but sync strips out all the bookmarks and simply lumps them together above the then empty list of sub-folders. With several hundred specific bookmarks and several dozen folders in the structure, this creates a nightmare to sort out.

Have I missed a trick here perhaps, or is that the norm?

But then it lead me to a popup saying "Firefox downloaded this app (Updated.app) from an unknown date", is that any good? I clicked cancel because I thought it would crash or break my system or app.

My computer crashed and I'm trying to start installing my old bookmarks on the new computer. I can't list bookmarks in the left margin as I did with my old computer. It used to give you that option but no longer. Further, I can't list any more then a few bookmarks on the upper horizontal toolbar. What am I missing?

I'm having a continuing problem w/ my auto-fill preference for logins and passwords not being saved. The checked box for auto-fill logins and passwords doesn't stay checked. I ALREADY RESET FIREFOX, BUT THIS DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. I don't want to reset again as I think it created problems with one of my accounts. Are there other solutions I can try?

Just reinstalled my pc, never used a sync from file I always do it that way.

1. download ff 2. login 3. synced

it fails at step 3, it just doesn't do anything at all, all I can see is my profile picture but nothing else, no bookmarks, no history, no addons, anything

I tried to sync on with my mobile, but there is literally nothing to sync.. I never used a backup file or anything

what should I do to get my addons and bookmarks back?

Hello all,

Although I have just updated Firefox to the last version hoping that the problem might be solved, after using the browser for a while and I google searching something, I get a blank page that does not load. Accessing other websites (bookmarked pages) might work sometimes though, but accessing the home page (google, google translate) just displays a blank page, no error message. I have started Mozilla in safe mode (troubleshooting mode) and the problem persists.

I have already deleted cookies, created a new profile, and reinstalled Mozilla and nothing seemed to work. The behavior is rather unpredictable and odd as I could not identify a pattern for the instances it happens. Exiting the browser and restarting it seems to solve the problem for the moment and then the behavior reoccurs. Also, sometimes after getting blank pages, taking a break or just using other browsers the problem is solved by itself temporarily. This does not happen when accessing Microsoft Edge.
