X.com videos won't play on Firefox, one or two play, but most won't, they simply buffer with a white moving circle without playing. I have Adblock Plus and a couple of other adblock extensions, but even when I disable those, the X.com videos still won't play. They play fine on Safari. I have Mac Book Air 2022, OS Sequioa 15.6.1

when trying to log into bank account it goes to a screen that says "performing security verification" when i tick box to verify you are human it goes into the spinning wheel and then continues in a loop with the verification process all over again .continuously .

Question on how to access split view. I looked under VIEW and other tabs, it is nowhere to be found.

Also I have difficulty making payments on my county tax site, had to switch browsers. This happened with Fidelity also, their rep recommended not using Firefox.

I just noticed that post FF's 150 update, I can no longer drag and drop folders into my DSM window. This has been a non issue for over 6 years and all of a sudden, poof. I did find that you can still to this on Safari, but long term, Mozilla and Synology need to address this. There's already a post on the Synology fourms about it and I've emailed their Support Team to see what they have to day. Posting this here in case anyone has found a workaround in the Config settings pane.

I have been using our CT association's multiple listing service, Smart MLS, on Firefox for years. All of a sudden, while I can log in and can select a search, nothing happens when I press "view results". I even logged in independently from my bookmarked address - still the same problem. Can I call someone to talk this through?

Many URLs and hosts automatically reload pages. For example, when I am reading a multi-page article and am several pages in, the page often reloads and I have to start all over again and try find the place where I left off reading. "Stop Auto Reload" is a Firefox extension that is supposed to allow the user to stop the auto-reloading that many URLs and hosts execute, but it does not always work. It seems to work on some sites, but not on others. I have not found any other extensions so far that address this. Any assistance with this problem is greatly appreciated. -Neil

I am reporting a performance issue specifically related to Google Search's AI features (AI Overviews) in Firefox 149.0.2 on macOS.

The Issue: When an AI-generated summary appears in Google Search results, GPU usage spikes significantly, reaching up to 212%. This causes the laptop to overheat and triggers high fan speeds.

Critical Comparison:

Firefox 149.0.2: Extreme GPU load and performance degradation when rendering Google AI elements.

Google Chrome 147.0.7727.56: Works perfectly with normal GPU usage under the same conditions.

Tested on two different MacBooks: MacBook Pro (A1502), 16GB RAM, i7 (2015) — OS: macOS Monterey. MacBook Pro (MMQX3), 64GB RAM, M1 Max (2021) — OS: macOS Sequoia (15.x/Tahoe).

Works okay in Safari

can no longer upload photos to iCloud. Doesn't matter if I am on my laptop mac or at work on a iMac. I can use the same two computers and upload the photos to iCloud if I go thru Google instead. Is this a Firefox issue? How to fix?

Some faces of a 3d box are now invisible. The HTML is correct and the Inspector shows the faces in pale blue correctly. This worked for many months before the latest update to Firefox. I tried it in Safari and it worked, but I am used to Firefox. I tried Firefox for Developers and it worked until the update today, 5/1/26. Please help.

I can't sign into my RBS Digital Banking page using Firefox. The display flips back and forth uncontrollably from Login page to Are You still Here? page. Login via Safari is as normal .. but Firefox is my preferred browser.

All of a sudden, I cannot open my Comcast Xfinity email. I don't have the issue using Safari or Chrome. I have never had the issue with irefox until now.

Running Firefox 149.0.2 (64-bit) on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with Catalina (10.15.9).

I was in the process of updating a non-profit's website and had opened the html file on my computer. I noticed that the "y" (lower case) was missing from the days of the week. I checked the RUNNING website and saw the same thing. Checked he same website with Safari and the "y" suddenly appeared. Okay, so I then tried to add another "y" somewhere else on that page and ... nothing, so on a whim I added a "Y" to my Mac's file and guess what? It upper case Y displayed. Also noticed that on some web pages instead of showing me the characters in some words, it substitutes "ddddddd" for some words. What's up?

Recently the MS Q&A site displays outrageously small text. FF is fully updated as is Sequoia. I don't have the same problem when accessing the same site in Safari. I have tries various setting combinations in FF Preferences for Zoom & Font [including Advanced] but nothing provides a remedy. I really don't want to stop using FF but this is unbearable... I spend much time in Q&A supporting MS product. The image on the left ia how FF displays the page, the image on the right is from Safari.
