Spotify webplayer on Firefox is unuseable after updating to latest version

Majority of the songs do not play and I'm given with a pop-up, "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I will play a song from a playlist and is given that pop-up, it will continue skipping to the next song until it plays, but only for 9-10 seconds until the song mutes, to specify, the dot (when hovered on the progress bar) will still move, indicating that "it's playing".

Some clarifications: 1. I use Spotify Desktop app (windows), Spotify App (android), and Spotify Webplayer on Chrome and Firefox. Everything works just as fine on all of these, except for Spotify Webplayer on Firefox. 2. Skipping to a later timestamp does not unmute the song. 2. I have Spotify Premium 3. I have no VPN 4. I am running Firefox with an ad blocker 5. I am running Chrome with an ad blocker (same ad blocker in Fifefox) 6. I am running Firefox to the latest version (Firefox 119.0.1 (20231106151204))

What I've done so far: 1. Cleared caches and data. 2. Updated my Windows to the latest update available - Win10 v.22H2 3. Signed-out of Spotify for all my devices, then logging-in first on Spotify Desktop (this automatically redirects to Firefox webplayer) 4. Ran Firefox on "Troubleshoot Mode" 5. Un-checked and re-checked "Play DRM content" setting. 6. Disabled and re-enabled the plug-in "Widevine Content Decryption Module by Google Inc". (this plug-in is last udpated on November 17, 4.10.2710.0

I am experiencing issues with my ChatGPT subscription while using it on the Firefox browser. Despite having an active subscription with access to ChatGPT-4, the interface only shows an 'Upgrade' option instead of the 'Refer a Friend' feature, which suggests that my subscription isn't being recognized properly. Additionally, whenever I try to send a message in the chat, I receive an error stating, 'Our systems have detected unusual activity from your system. Please try again later.' I haven't encountered these issues on other browsers. Could you please provide assistance or guidance on how to resolve these problems with Firefox?"

I have tried to clear the cache, and relogin, does not work...

YouTube is blocking playback on Firefox due to my use of an ad blocker. However, playback is not blocked in the same circumstances when I use Chrome. Are they trying to stop me from using an ad blocker or overturn my browser choice by forcing me to move from Firefox to Chrome for playback with an ad blocker enabled?

The header bar at the top of the screen has disappeared from Firefox when run from my desktop computer (Image 1), but not when run from my laptop computer (Image 2). With the desktop, the maximize, minimize etc buttons are now on the same toolbar as the File Edit View etc buttons and there is no indication as to what website is being viewed. This problem occurs even when Firefox is run in Troubleshooting mode. Both instantiations are v. 119.0. How can I get the header back on my desktop instantiation?

And while I'm at it: With the current version of Firefox, the bookmarks toolbar is below the list of open websites, whereas several versions ago it was the other way around, which seems much more intuitive. Is there a way to switch them back so that the bookmarks menu is at the top?

Every time I open Netflix in Firefox browser, to watch streaming movies, it won't show them but keeps taking me to a page asking me to log in again or pay for a Netflix account. I am getting notifications with the Mozilla logo or sometimes with McAfee logo saying "5 Viruses found, your computer is unstable" and various other warnings. They all also say "via qltuh.titanicooler.top" I have attached a picture.

I have closed the browser, I tried clearing my cache, I have scanned using both AVG, AVAST, F-Secure Online Scanner, and Microsoft Safet Scanner. I am not quite sure what else I should do.

Checked the support page that says it can be undone in settings, but when I opened up to the said setting page, there's no option to uncheck underline links. Where else can underline links be disabled?

Amazon Prime Videos will not play on Fire Fox. The message says to update Firefox, but my browser is up to date as of today, 10-24-23. Their customer service can provide no answer. This has been an ongoing problem for several months. I have tried their trouble shooting steps of restarting my system, signing out and re-signing in on Amazon and closing and re-opening Firefox. Allow DRM content is checked on my settings. Thanks.

I often log in to a service ticketing website to help my customers. Before emailing them I must reference the service ticket number somewhere in the email, but this is very difficult to do in Firefox. If I inspect the element this is what I see:

<em unselectable="on" style="width: 2161px;">Service Ticket #55474079</em>

I understand the unselectable attribute is on but even if I try setting it to off or deleting it all together the problem remains. Moreover, I've tried it in several browsers (Chrome, Edge, DuckDuckGo) and it works fine without any extensions or tricks.

In other words: only Firefox keeps me from selecting this very important piece of info.

Any help would be very much appreciated! I looked up help articles but nothing similar to my case. I did find an extension for the browser but I am afraid to try it due to security reasons.

The "Layout.css.page-size.enabled" configuration parameter = False ,worked effectively in previous versions, but after updating to Firefox 119.0, it no longer works whether I set it to True or False.

Orientation option is missing when I try to print documents from a website. The Firefox Print Preview window, which usually allows orientation choices for printing, is now not available.

Hello, I've got a reproduction issue on France TV live programs which I watch through nordvpn. The picture keeps "jumping" fast up and down in a very bothering way. This doesn't happen when the video is NOT live. I run the latest version of LINUX MINT. What can I do to fix it? The only way I found to stop the issue is to take down the resolution of the live video to its minimum which gives me a disastrous picture but stops the "jumping". I guess you might say there is something wrong with my GPU. The point is that my PC is brand new with an AMD 5600G, new MB, 16Gb of RAM and 500w of PSU. BUT more than anything I have to say that everything WORKS FINE with CHROME. I like FIREFOX I have been using it literally for decades now. (I'm 75). Is there a solution? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance. François.

As I said: fresh install of FF 119, only Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin icons are showing on the taskbar. I tried TyDraniu tip "Click the jigsaw puzzle icon, then right-click on an extension, then select Pin to toolbar" but with the right click there is no such option as "Pin to toolbar".

What's going on?

I am having an issue with a work site where the content is not being displayed correctly. This site uses microsoft single sign-on with my corporate account and it seems that this is where it breaks, as I am finding errors that point in that direction: GET https://autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com/softtek.com/winauth/sso?client-request-id=xxxx POST https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/instrumentation/dssostatus Result: NS_BINDING_ABORTED

When I open the same site using Edge (sorry:) it works correctly. The issue is that I do not have control over that website and I use it to enter some work information and I haven't found a way to work around it. I have disabled DNS over HTTPS, HTTPS only mode, Deceptive content protection, allowed single sign-on for microsoft, deleted cookies, etc and nothing seems to work. I hope this gets looked into as it is really an issue that might affect everyone not only at my workplace but others that may use similar functionality. Thank you.

Hi there, I have configured Firefox to remove cookies after closing it. At the same time, I have added some webs that I usually use as exceptions, allowing to remember cookies in those. However, I have the following question: if I reject all cookies except for the mandatories ones in a website that I added to my "remember list", does that mean that future entrances in that web will be with only essential cookies?

As an example, if I mark https://www.bbc.com/ as cookies, and the first time I enter I reject all non-essential cookies, next times I enter in the bbc will I be navigating with only the cookies I accepted on this first entrance? Or allowing a site automatically accepts all cookies?
