PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

I'm tired fixing errors which become more complex and solutions are written for people who have the time an knowledge to waste fixing these constant issues in FIREFOX, Time to change browser.

Starting on October 18, I've had problems accessing most websites. I get security errors such as:

Secure Connection Failed Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Secure Connection Failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

This problem occurs only with Firefox. It doesn't happen with Chrome (which I had to use to post here).

A few sites work, but not many.

I tried reinstalling the latest version of Firefox but that didn't make any difference.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I cannot visit www.lancastergc.co.uk now after years of accessing it. please help me connect it again without the following error notice:-

We have systems on our network that run Mozilla Firefox when accessing a specific URL are able to do so with no issues. Then we have other systems in our network that run Mozilla Firefox when accessing that same URL received the following error:

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Both are running the same version of Firefox. The only difference I have found is the DNS over HTTPS status. On the one that the user is able to access the URL, the DNS over HTTPS status is off. On the one that the user is unable to access the same URL, the DNS over HTTPS status is Active using the provider Cloudflare.

These are both brand new install of Firefox and there was no configuration changes. We don't use any GPO's or anything else to manage Firefox. Why would one be off and the other active? This is causing issues.

I was trying to go to ssa.gov, today, and hit the button to login. When I did that, I got a 400 page saying: Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I have done this before, and it worked. To test if it was a problem with the web page or the browser, I did it from another browser (Brave), and it loaded fine. Is Firefox sending a bad request? Is this something you can fix.

I am using Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 137.0.1 (64 bit).

I have not made any change to my current Firefox browser and suddenly when attempting to load YouTube I get the message: An error occurred during a connection to www.youtube.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Any idea what has caused this problem and what to do about it? Thank you for all help.

I have an internal site that now gives

Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

It started on 9/19/25. It's not the site. In fact I did a refresh on Firefox and it work. However if i I turn on the Menu bar and restart Firefox it's broke again.

Why am I being blocked from websites? I keep receiving messages 504 Gateway Time-out. The question I searched in google was, what size comb do I use to clip my dog's long hair? It's a simple question. Why did it send me this message 504 Gateway Time-out. I am not all that computer literate so I could use some help please. FYI I used Firefox as my browser.

I am unable to watch movies on paramount +. it says unable to load code 111. has something to do with blocking or firewall or I really don;t know. I am 86 yo and have no grandkids close. HELP
