Ever since upgrading to Windows 11, my Firefox installation has occasionally been unable to resolve domain names of some websites. Example domains:

As I was trying to debug this, I discovered that the DNS resolution and connection timings are just over 30 seconds (see the attached image). This is highly unusual.

  • The issue does not occur with other web browsers on my computer (i.e., Microsoft Edge).
  • The issue has persisted across reboots.
  • I have already reinstalled Firefox (and wiped the temp files and appdata profile before installing again).
  • The issue does not occur with other devices on my home network.
  • DNS over HTTPS has been manually disabled.
  • Changing DNS resolvers in my Windows settings does not fix the issue.
  • The issue is still present with a fresh, unmodified installation of Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I love Firefox and do not want to switch to a different browser.

Almost every internet site that I go to using Firefox I get this message, "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.". When I use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, I can get to the site? I really like using Firefox, but if it does not work?

Hi; I've signed up for the vpn, several times, but nothing appears. I don't see any box on the top right of any bar. I don't even know the symbol, but have checked all that are there. How do I turn it on? I found something about "privacy windows" but that just leads back to the signup page. I know it'll be simple, but I'm missing it totally.

I literally cannot access any website at all. It was working just fine and dandy and suddenly, boom. It just stops working. I dunno if this is something that has been a problem for anyone else, but I do not want to switch back to chrome as it eats up my memory like a starving cow.

Any help would be wonderful.

   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

What can I do to resolve this problem.....Problem loading page
