Suddenly no audio when using Firefox. Only setting I can find says audio is allowed from all websites. There are no websites listed on that settings page. Audio works fine using other browsers. Any thoughts?

Unable to play a video on Hulu with my own Hulu account, which I have had no issues in the past doing, even with all my ad blockers and trackers enabled (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, AdBlocker Ultimate, Ghostery, and Malwarebytes). I have tried disabling all of the above extensions, refreshing the website and still no luck. I have also followed the instructions Hulu guides me to via a link on the screen (see attached screenshot) to their help page https://help.hulu.com/article/hulu-power-cycle?utm_source=hulu&utm_medium=error-message&utm_campaign=video-02 None of these have helped either. My internet speed is fine, I checked it through 3 different internet speed testers to verify Also checked my Wifi signal through our Google Home portal. I've searched online for solutions and haven't found anything new to help or in the Mozilla Support forum. My computer/laptop is up to date on all updates and software. Appreciate any support, thank you!

why do videos opened in new tabs have an audio delay before the sound comes on? this is a recent phenomenon. So, when I right click a video and click 'open in new tab' when the video starts the audio is delayed 2 to 3 seconds. normally there is no audio lag. this has been happening for perhaps two weeks now. is it related to a setting? I recently adjusted the security and privacy settings.

why is the icon even there or why does it have to disappear and then also change the tab size ?

1) if its there to enable you to play a tab in the background, then i want the option to switch the feature on or off (because i do not want to play anything in the background, atleast not via a 24/7 target practice with a mouse)

2) if its there to give you notice that there is a 'multimedia' tab open in your browser, then i want the icon to stay there and not dissapear plus change tab size...

like what is this even ? are we back in the 50s ?

My microphone does not work properly in Firefox, it sounds periodically really low and that doesnt depend on my mic settings. It seems like that is Automatic Gain Control or something like that and idk how to disable it. On screenshot im just speaking as usual but the browser lowers the volume -_-

Fire fox is automatically playing videos/sound or both if I click on a tab that has that or also in facebook, etc. How do I stop this? I want to be able to click play when I want to hear/see something.

I have 2 problems after changing my computer

1) After upgrading my graphics card to a newer 5070 RTX series model, I'm seeing artifacts at low resolutions (~720p). I reinstalled the drivers using DDU, but that didn't help. I only have the problem with Firefox - I tried another browser, and it doesn't have the same issue. (screen image)

2) This problem is more complicated. When watching videos on YouTube, Netflix, or other sites, I experience slight image stuttering, as if Firefox is chopping frames (the sound continues), but a small amount of image stuttering appears.

I reinstalled the system and replaced the motherboard with a Z790 MSI.

When I play the video locally on my computer, there's no problem. I play it in Chrome or Edge, but I can't see it.

In Firefox, the video stutters slightly, about 0.5/1 second. YouTube stats show that I'm dropping frames at random times; sometimes it's 2 frames per 20,000, and sometimes it's 150 frames per 7,500.

I reinstalled the system twice, the drivers are up to date, and the software is also up to date. And I still get the error. I don't know how to fix it.

PLZ NEED HELP ME :))

Videos don't play on some sites. CNN. MSNBC. Etc. Everything is on the screen - image, script gets underlined when mouse passes over - but there's no arrow when I pass over the image. What gives? I've tried everything I can think of. HELP!

Greetings! I've been a Firefox evangelist for a long time! I'm having issue with my Dell Precision 5530 pushing Firefox audio to a Bluetooth speaker connected to PC. Others browsers work fine, however FF wants to use the speakers on my monitor, connected via HDMI. I've tried to change several times, however FF does not want to use the BT.

Can you please help?

'how to cast videos from my phone to my TV if I got android phone, and I have i basic Sylvania TV without wifi or Bluetooth connection, hmi and a softwaode with fire fox app.

All of my streaming services stall on Firefox in the middle of watching regardless of what I'm on hulu, disney, espn, youtube, sirius radio. It's not my internet, which I have had checked by a technican in my house. The streaming works on Safari so it's definitely a Firefox problem. If you can't fix it, I will have to move all of my services to Safari.
