131 installed. I now cannot read article in newspaper I subscribe to on line. Click 'read more 'and get warning notice pop up that I need to disable ad blocker or have no internet connectivity. Does not happen on Safari so not the newspaper or my Mac or the internet connection. Did happen trying to reach my bank account also. Did not happen before new version. I do not want to use SAFARI. IS this a bug in program? Is this because a few weeks ago I set no tracking feature and no selling data? Those seemed to have slowed performance but did not cause alert message preventing access. As elderly person, this is frustrating and scary and upsetting. Help appreciated. Wish Firefox had a place where users like me could list this sort of problem so we could feel like Firefox knew what we were experiencing when new version happens.. my extensions got unpinned and the new tab button is gone, the tab overview is gone, the extension button is to the left of the address bar, the back and forward buttons are to the left of the address bar, the back and forward button are swapped, WHY.

In the screenshot i pinned the 3 extesions i use again, they were unpinned before

Win 10.0.19045 , Firefox 131.0. For the last week or so Firefox has crashed out several times a day. What has changed to make this happen, and how can it be prevented?

I am unable to use my bill pay with my bank using Firefox browser. However, I am able to use it logging on with Microsoft Edge. What has changed with Firefox recently? This has only become a problem as of today.

I'm using Firefox Developer Edition 132.0b2 (64-bit) and noticed that the only way to open a new tab is to click on the pancake icon and select new tab. The "+" icon in the tab bar is missing.

I also noticed that there is no way to reload the page (especially doing a hard reload). This is a major issue when making updates to websites and wanting to see those edit. Clicking in the address bar and then on enter will reload the page, but does not do a hard reload, so the cached version of the page is displayed, not the updates.

The task bars on the top keep disappearing from my screen whenever I move my mouse away from hovering over them, I want to know how to stop and to keep them constantly on the screen at all times.

after the changes in firefox 131 the following pref no longer hides tab manager:

user_pref("browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled", false);

To further clarify, tab manager is the arrow button (or the new icon in firefox 131) besides the minimize button of your firefox window. I want to hide that.

After the most recent update of FF on Mac OS Sequoia, suddenly I am no longer able to login to either of my routers, because they require http and FF keeps forcing https.

This results in no login gui but instead an ‘unable to connect’ error message.

I have researched and tried every conceivable fix and nothing works (settings, about:config, cookies, cache, all of it.

I would have expected that simply adding exceptions in settings would work, but it simply doesn’t.

I can login via Safari, so this is clearly a FF issue. It even happens in Safe Mode.

Kind of at my wits end. Anyone have a fix.

My links on Firefox worked until I upgraded my Mac OS to Sequoia 15. Now the browser does not even get active and keeps buffering. Where is the problem and what can I do to solve it?

A white horizontal line in the top of the screen, whilst watching movies in tv5mondeplus.com. This issue happens when installed the recent update 129.0.

Tested in other browsers and doesn't appear the white horizontal line on top.

I have what i am sure is a common scenario, a work pc (mac) and home pc (linux), and I want to have a work profile and home profile that are independently synced across those PCs.

It's no problem to setup sync for the work profile but while setting up sync for the home profile it seems firefox doesn't grok that the home profile already exists and treats it like a new mozilla account.

In debugging this issue (and the "Primary account email required for sign-in" issue, which prevented me from signing in at all) i've come across numerous articles that imply this basic home<->home work<->work sync across 2 devices does not work with firefox. Is this the case? this is a basic (IMO mandatory) requirement for a browser in 2024 and even the difficulty of setting this up is super jarring coming from Chrome.

Opened the brower today, and it feels like my entire browser i flipped. Its not unusable, but my hard-coded default actions like going backwards and forwards being on the left, makes it VEEEEEERY hard to use. And idk what happened. So if you could please help me swap it around again, that would be sincerely appreciated.

Why, when I try to go back to a duckduckgo.com page, do I get this message and how do I resolve the issue? What makes duckduckgo a sensitive document? This started recently. I had no issues before.

How can I remove monitor, relay, mozilla vpn from the Account drop down menu. See attached example.

The ONLY reason anyone goes further down this menu is to get to the other tabs on other devices. These things, on especially my super small laptop screen, only get in the way.

Any way to stop showing these in this menu?

Uh - there's no topic for bugs... need one of those.

Seems that somewhere along the line Sidebar setting no longer persistent. The problem is that after I use the sidebar to view history, dismiss it when finished and then close FF the setting that the sidebar should show history when it is opened is not retained by FF. So the next time FF is opened, the sidebar is not showing. When the sidebar is opened, it shows bookmarks rather than history.

This needs fixed. And while you at it make a configuration key for it in the about:config page. Seems simple enough. Ya know back when I started with all this PC crap in the 1980's things worked. Now, not so much. To much man-bun, java jockey pitiful python pirate for me.

Sad to see how convoluted this all got. All because no one can write good, low level code. Really sad.
