Hi,

I downloaded JDownloader yesterday. It forcefully installed some adware which became the default search engine, can't recall its name and Avast Antivirus. There was no option to uncheck them while installing. Since I didn't like JD at all so I uninstalled them all using Revo Uninstaller. Now while I searched something in the url bar few times that adware's page searched my keywords. I opened my settings and I got this message Your browser is being managed by your organization. PFA. This is my personal laptop connected to my personal wifi. Can I delete everything related to this junk without reinstalling FF? http://www.upl.co/uploads/14291556FF1580471775.jpg http://www.upl.co/uploads/161919FF-11580471781.jpg

Thanks

I received an email from AppleID@customers.appstore.36.ca asking me to update my account info. As my cc expiry date had just changed so I thought oh damn I forgot. I put in my updated info, then when I hit submit, at least I think that was what was on the bottom, don't honestly remember, any way a screen for "Reported Web Forgery" popped up. I got out of there I did not go any farther but did my information go anywhere? Looking closer at the email, there it DHgate.com web address at the bottom. Please put my mind at ease! Thank you. I just need to know if my info went any where.

I've been developing an application using Visual Studio 2010. I've been using FireFox 24.0 as my browser running VS's IIS dev server. It was running fine before a company policy procedure meant I had to change my computer name.

After restarting, I get an error 403 Server Error in '/' Application.

I first checked my IIS settings and made sure the service was running. When that didn't help, I chose another browser by default. The application ran as normal which points to some security setting on FF. I cleared the cache and cookies and other things but nothing I've tried works.

Recently, I have noticed that on some websites certain key phrases or words are underlined in green and an advert pops up once you put your mouse over these words. In particular, phrases like "gold and silver", "black and white", "fresh food", "liberal", "conservative", "economy" (plus many others) have this featured attached to them. If you place your mouse over these words a small box pops up saying "savesupto10 percent", "download firefox", "consumers finance daily - save 100%" (etc) as well as some other websites your dodgy links.

Why is this happening? How do I get rid of it? It only cropped up recently.

I am trying to sign an aspx page using an expired client certificate; when ff reads it, it says it is expired, but allows me to choose it as my credentials and tries to sign the page, failing with a 401 error, instead of showing me the sec_error_expired_certificate error that it is supposed to catch. In IE 10 the expired certificate is not even shown at all. The URL with an image of the expired certificate details that ff shows is https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1lT9eaRWKKwRWz-N0KycJ9GZY0kh_vc6QJ96L-1mHT1U/edit?usp=sharing

The problem is that this exception is not redirecting to my aspx code, so I cannot catch the error. How can I fix this problem, advertising the user in a friendly way that the certificate is really expired?

Thanks a lot Hector

I previously posted the following as a Reply whereas it ought to have been a Question: I use the save passwords facility and when I want to login in to one of my Yahoo accounts, I used to simply type the first character of my Yahoo account name and FF would either show a dropdown list of all of my accounts starting with that character or, if only one account exists starting with the typed character, FF shows just that one in the dropdown list. When I clicked on the required account name, FF auto-filled the password box. Since updating to FF V25 this functionality appears compromised, on first use after starting FF it may work but then on the next use, nothing happens when I type the first character of the account name. TO MAKE IT WORK AGAIN, I click on Tools, select Options and ensure that the Security tab is visible (where I can see 'Remember Passwords for Sites' is ticked), then I click on OK (WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING ELSE) then it works correctly in giving the dropdown list of account names and auto-completing the password when I select an account name. I do the above procedure every time FF doesn't display the dropdown of account names and it fixes the problem - I don't do anything on the Security tab within the Options window other than click OK ! Does any one know why saved names/passwords will only function correctly for the Yahoo sign-in page only after simply opening Options/Security tab and then closing it? I am not using Private Browsing. Regards, Steve 11th November 2013.

Antilog Calculator

Antilog Calculator commonly called as Anti Log or Inverse Log calculator, is an online tool used to calculate Inverse Log values with respect to the base values AntiLog or Inverse Logarithm

The anti-log is simply the inverse log calculation. Namely, if you know the logarithm of a number, you can compute the value of the number itself by taking the antilog. The anti logarithm is defined as

y = antilog x = 10x

For example, if you want to compute the antilogarithm of 3.5. Clearly, since 3.5 is a number between 3 and 4, the antilogarithm will result in some number between 1000 and 10,000. If more accuracy is required, this online anti-log calculator can help you out find out the exact value of the given input. Since Log and antilog are inverse functions, then this means that 10Log x = x, and Log 10x = x

You can use this information to modify a formula to solve for different desired quantities. As a general rule, logarithm or anti log functions operate on numbers that are unit less
